Reflections on Visual Argument

The Visual Argument assignment was a way to put our argumentative research reports
into a visual. I believe that I accomplished the purpose of the assignment very well by providing
a good visual presentations of the two key arguments made in my essay. My process was
different for this assignment because I had to think about what would attract my audience
visually and also how I can show my argument this way. Between my outline and my final
images, there were small changes as well as big changes. When I began to make my second
poster I questioned whether if this poster and my first were essentially the same argument. It was
then that I decided to scrap that plan altogether to make a different poster.
What I learned from this assignment was how to think differently in such a way to
present my ideas in such little words. I had to think of what could properly express my
arguments so that the audience understands the point I am trying to make. This assignment
forced me to be creative in a way that I really havent been before.
