My current attitude toward witting is positive as it works like an escape from the world.
My writing abilitys extends no further than just a freshman in college, in my own honest opinion
I can improve many aspects. Key moments in writing that have happened to me in the past by far
to memory would be the first actual essay I wrote in high school that was my senior year. I was
at the moment being introduced to an academic essay and going through the whole process on
how to write and after just finalizing the essay and turning it in, I found it interesting and got my
attention, My ability to understand what an academic essay was when I entered college and was
able to really open my mind and get the full picture of what I need to do. School was able to give
me the understanding of an essay.
When writing, I mostly enjoy writing persuasion essays. I find it fun and interesting to
have my own opinion and explaining why I think it is correct and have someone change their
own opinion on what Im trying to explain. I do not enjoy writing summery essay as I tend to get
writers block and take longer than other essays. I like to imagine the whole writing process in my
mind before I start to write, I first start with writing the introduction/thesis then lead on to my
body paragraphs and counter argument and finish with my conclusion. I then return to my essay
and read out loud to make sure it makes sense to myself and to fix any corrections. I finish my
process by having a completed essay and creating a cover and reference page. I like to prepare
my process by having a full understanding of what Im writing about. When Im writing a
persuasion essay I like to make strong arguments and prove my argument by using 3 to 5 points.
I also prepare my invirnment and my surrounding by having a playlist of my favorite music
playing in the background. My favorite snacks must be around as Im writing because I dont
like to move around a leave the room.

Writing an academic essay is very time consuming and for many it could take a long
time. For myself, depending on the subject and my level of interest I usually do long sitting and
try to do as much as I can when my ideas are fresh and my mind zoned in. When writing a long
essay of 3-5 pages I give my self-time, most of it goes into the preparation and revision of the
essay itself. Writing the essay of 3-5 pages can take me as long as 2 to 3 days as I can become a
very detailed writer. Shorter essay of 2-3 pages can take me a few hours or up to one day and I
can complete in one sitting. When I write academic essays I usually time myself in intervals,
usually I write of about 1hr then take a 10 min brake to read what I wrote and recollect my ideas.

Writing a proper academic essay has many rules and guide lines, one I follow the most is
having an introduction/thesis, argument points, counter argument, conclusion. The rules that
block me are the same rules that help me because if I did not follow the rules my essays would
be more personal and have more of me. The rule that help me the most is having a counter
argument because without the counter argument you do not allow the reader to have a full
understanding of your topic. It also helps give the writer a better understanding of what the topic
is because it lets you know what others think. To revise your paper mean to look back at the
essay and make sure you are happy with the product, to catch any mistakes. Revising also mean
to return to your product and make week argument strong with evidence that might be missing or
would like to add. When I revise I look at my spelling and the point Im trying to get across are
strong. I also revise the structure of my essay to make sure it is laid out orderly. I focus on my
argument and that everything backs my introduction. I delete or replace issues that might have
gone off topic with strong facts.

I state in comment 5, the last paragraph seems rushed. Try to expand it and place the
