1. Further requests that the DPRK refrain from conducting any sort nuclear tests in the
future, including:
a) missile launches
b) rocket launches
2. Expresses its hope that the DPRK will finally recognize the global community's desire
for them to give up their nuclear weapons;
3. Calls upon all member states, especially those who consider themselves allies to the
DPRK, to use their political and economical power to dissuade the DPRK from
continuing to develop nuclear weapons, including:
(a) temporarily discontinuing the trade and exchange of any and all
commodities with the DPRK
(b) freezing all accounts that are related to trade and/or transactions
with the DPRK
4. Proclaims that the Six Party Talks, including The United States of America, The
Peoples Republic of China, the Russian Federation, Japan, The Republic of Korea (South
Korea), and the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (North Korea) shall immediately
recommence and hold their first meeting within thirty (30) days of this resolutions
passing;
5. Urges the DPRK to diplomatically come to an agreement with other countries through
negotiations during these talks, and begin the process of denuclearization;
6. Encourages the DPRKs allies, and countries negotiating with the DPRK through the
Six Party Talks, to hold them accountable to their agreements;
7. Expresses its hope that the Security Council will become involved should the DPRK
fail to uphold what it has agreed to;
8. Further requests that the DPRK declares all of its nuclear testing facilities to its allies
within one hundred and eighty (180) days of this resolutions passing, and allows for
future inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency;
9. Emphasizes to the DPRK that, should they commit to denuclearization, they will be
rewarded with humanitarian and economic aid.
