A taste of Belgium

Soleil has prepared a special menu with the best that Belgium has to offer in co
njunction with Belgian Week, an event organised by the Belgian Embassy. Head che
f Evert Onderbeke recommends the Mixed Salad with Grey North Sea Shrimps, Coeur
de Boeuf Tomatoes and Tierenteyn Pickles Mayonnaise for starters, as well as Cab
illaud a la Flamande (Cod Fish with Asparagus and Poached Egg) and Lemon Sole Ost
endaise with Mussels, Shrimps and Crushed Potatoes for main courses. Other option
s for mains are Beef Cheek braised in Floreffe Double with Belgian Endives and F
rites and Gentse Waterzooi with Chicken, Vegetables Julienne and Baby Potatoes.
For desserts, there are Belgian Waffle with Kriek Beer Infusion and Cherry Espum
a, Crepes Flambee with Mandarine Napoleon and Vanilla Ice-Cream and White and Da
rk Callebaut Chocolate Mousse with Strawberries. Belgian beers such as Blanche d
e Bruxelles, St Louis Kriek Fond Tradition and Delirium Tremens will be brought
in. The Belgian Week menu is available as a la carte dishes priced between RM26+
+ and RM85++, as well as set menus priced between RM78++ and RM180++. It is avai
