 ‫ﹺﺑ‬
In the name of Allah — the Merciful, the Beneficent

‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﱠﱵ‬
 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻚ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﻲ ﹶﺃ‬‫ﺍﻧ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼـ‬
‫ﺀ‬‫ﺷﻲ‬ ‫ﹸﻛﻞﱠ‬

O Allah! I ask You by Your mercy

which encompasses all things

 ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﱠﱵ ﹶﻗ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬‫ﻭﹺﺑ ﹸﻘﻮ‬

And by Your power by which

You overcome all things

And submit to it all things

and humble before it all things

And by Your might by which You

have conquered all things

And by Your majesty against which

nothing can stand up

‫ﻣ َﹶ‬ ‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﱠﱵ‬

And by Your grandeur which prevails

upon all things

And by Your authority which is

exercised over all things

And by Your own self that shall

endure forever after all things have
perished

And by Your Names which manifest

Your power over all things

‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﱠﺬﻱ ﺍﹶﺣﺎ ﹶ‬

And by Your knowledge which

pervades all things

 ‫ﺟ ﹺﻬ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻮ ﹺﺭ‬‫ﻭﹺﺑﻨ‬

And by the light of Your existence

which illuminates everything

O You who are the light!
O You who are the most holy!

O You who existed before the

foremost!
O You who shall exist after the last!

that break the barriers

O Allah! Forgive me such sins that

bring down misfortunes

O Allah! Forgive every sin that I have

committed

O Allah! I draw myself near to You

by Your remembrance

ِ ‫ﻧ ﹾﻔ‬ ‫ﱃ‬‫ﻚ ﺍ‬
 ‫ﻊ ﹺﺑ‬ ‫ﻔ‬ ‫ﺸ‬
 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬

And I request You to intercede on

my behalf to You

 ‫ﺮﹺﺑ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹸﻗ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﲏ‬‫ﺪﹺﻧﻴ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻙ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻥ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﻚ ﹺﺑﺠ‬
 ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺃ‬

And I ask You by Your benevolence

to draw me nearer to You

And grant me that I should be

grateful to You

And inspire me to remember You

 ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﻲ ﹶﺃ‬‫ﺍﻧ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼ‬

O Allah! I entreat You begging You

submissively, humbly and
awestricken

With leniency and mercy

 ‫ﺗ‬‫ﻭ‬

And to make me pleased and content

with what You have allotted to me

And to be modest in all

circumstances

 ‫ﺘﺪ‬‫ﺷ‬ ‫ﻣ ﹺﻦ ﺍ‬ ‫ﺆﺍ ﹶﻝ‬‫ﻚ ﺳ‬
 ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺃ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼ‬

O Allah! I beg You as one who is

passing through extreme poverty

And who supplicates his needs to

You

And has high hopes has in You

O Allah! Great is Your Kingdom and

exalted is Your greatness

Your plan is secret

Your authority is evident

Your might is victorious and Your

power is prevalent

And it is not possible to escape from

Your rule

O Allah! I do not find any one able to

pardon my sins except You

Nor to conceal my offensive acts

‫ﻲ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﺒﻴ ﹺ‬‫ﻤﻠ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻲﺀ‬‫ﻟﺸ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬
‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ ﹰﻻ ﹶﻏ‬‫ﺒﺪ‬‫ﻣ‬
Nor anyone to change my evil deeds
into virtues except You

 ‫ﻭﹺﺑ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﺤﺎ‬‫ﺳﺒ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﻪ ﺇﻻﹼ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻻ ﺍ‬

There is no god but You

glory and praise be to You

I have made my own soul to suffer

 ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﺳ ﹶﻜ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

Relying upon my past remembrance

of You and Your grace towards me

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻦ ﻗﹶﺒﻴﺢ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻻﻱ ﹶﻛ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼ‬

O Allah! My Lord! How many of my

offensive acts have You hidden

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻼ ِﺀ ﹶﺍ ﹶﻗ ﹾﻠ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟﺒ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺡ‬‫ﻦ ﻓﺎﺩ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﻛ‬

How many of my grievous afflictions

and distresses have You reduced?

And from how many of my errors

have You protected?

How many of my detestable acts

have You averted ?

 ‫ﻤﻴﻞ ﹶﻟ‬‫ﻦ ﺛﹶﻨﺎﺀ ﺟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﻛ‬

And how many of my undeserving

praises have You spread!

O Allah! My trials and sufferings are

great and my evilness has
surpassed its limits

Deeds have diminished and my

yokes (of misdeeds) have become
firm

My good and remote hopes

restrain me to profit (by good deeds)

And the world has deceived me with

its charms

Therefore, my Lord! I ask You by

Your honor

 ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﺐ‬
 ‫ﺠ‬
‫ﺤ‬
 ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ ﹾﻥ ﻻ‬

Not to let my sins and my misdeeds

hinder my prayers from reaching You

‫ﻯ‬‫ﺳﺮ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺎ ﺍﻃﱠ ﹶﻠ‬‫ﻲ ﻣ‬‫ﺨﻔ‬
 ‫ﲏ ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻀﺤ‬
 ‫ﺗ ﹾﻔ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬

And not to disgrace me by

exposing that hidden of which You
are aware

‫ﺧﻠﹶﻮﺍﰐ‬ ‫ﻪ ﰲ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻠﻰ ﻣﺎ‬‫ﺔ ﻋ‬ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﻌﻘﹸﻮ‬ ‫ﻌﺎ ﹺﺟﻠﹾﲏ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ‬‫ﻻ ﺗ‬‫ﻭ‬

Nor to hasten my retribution

for those vices and misdeeds
committed by me in secret

Excessive lustfulness and my

negligence

 ‫ﺗ‬‫ﻌﺰ‬ ‫ ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹸﻛ ﹺﻦ ﺍﻟﻠﹼ‬

O Allah! I beg You by Your greatness

to be kind to me in all
circumstances

And be kind towards me in all

matters

My God! My Nourisher! Have I
anyone except You

 ‫ﻪ ﹶﻛ‬ ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﹶﺃ‬

I seek Him to remove my evils and to

look into my affairs?

‫ﻧﻔﹾﺴﻲ‬ ‫ﻮﻯ‬‫ﻪ ﻫ‬ ‫ﻓﻴ‬
You decreed a law on me instead I
obeyed my own low desires

‫ﻳ ﹺ‬‫ﺗﺰ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺱ ﻓﻴ‬
 ‫ﺘ ﹺﺮ‬‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﻢ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﻟ‬

And I did not guard myself against

the attractions of my enemy

‫ﻚ ﺍﹾﻟﻘﹶﻀﺎ ُﺀ‬
 ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻠﻰ ﺫ‬‫ﻩ ﻋ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻮﻯ‬‫ﱐ ﺑﹺﻤﺎ ﹶﺍﻫ‬‫ﻐﺮ‬ ‫ﹶﻓ‬

He deceived me with vain hopes and

fate helped him in that respect

 ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻦ ﺫ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠﻰ‬ ‫ﺮﻯ‬‫ﺕ ﺑﹺﻤﺎ ﺟ‬
 ‫ﺯ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺠﺎ‬‫ﹶﻓﺘ‬
‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﻭ‬‫ﺣﺪ‬

Thus I transgressed some of its

limits set for me by You

 ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﻣ ﹺﺮ‬ ‫ﺾ ﺍﹶﻭﺍ‬
 ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﺧﺎﹶﻟ ﹾﻔ‬‫ﻭ‬

And I disobeyed some of Your

commandments

 ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻤﻴ ﹺﻊ ﺫ‬‫ ﰲ ﺟ‬‫ﻋ ﹶﻠﻰ‬ ‫ ﹸﺔ‬‫ﺤﺠ‬
 ‫ﻚ ﺍﹾﻟ‬
 ‫ﹶﻓ ﹶﻠ‬

You have therefore the argument

against me in all those matters

‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺅ‬ ‫ﻪ ﻗﹶﻀﺎ‬ ‫ ﻓﻴ‬‫ﻋ ﹶﻠﻲ‬ ‫ﺮﻯ‬‫ ﹶﺔ ﱄ ﻓﻴﻤﺎ ﺟ‬‫ﺣﺠ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬

And I have no argument against

Your judgment against me

And I am liable to Your judgment

and afflictions

transgressions against my soul

Apologetically, repentantly,
broken heartedly

Entreating earnestly for forgiveness

confessing to my guilt

As I can find no escape from that

which was done by me

And having no refuge to which I

And You making me enter in Your

capacious mercy

 ‫ ﹶﺓ‬‫ﺷﺪ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺭ‬ ‫ﺍ‬‫ﻋﺬﹾﺭﻱ ﻭ‬ ‫ﺒ ﹾﻞ‬‫ ﻓﹶﺎ ﹾﻗ‬‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼ‬

O Allah! Accept my apology and

have mercy on my intense
sufferings

And my upbringing and welfare and

my sustenance

ْ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﲏ ﻻ‬‫ﻫﺒ‬

Bestow Your favors

upon me as You did in the beginning

O' My God! My Master! My Lord!

Will You see me punished with Your

fire despite my belief in Your unity?

And despite the fact that my heart

has been filled with You awareness

 ‫ﻭﹶﻟ ﹺﻬ‬

And my tongue has spoken out in

Your remembrance

 ‫ﺣﺒ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻤﲑﻱ‬‫ﻩ ﺿ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺘ ﹶﻘ‬‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﺍ‬‫ﻭ‬

And my conscience has

acknowledged Your love

 ‫ﻋﺎﺋﻲ‬‫ﻭﺩ‬ ‫ﺮﺍﰲ‬‫ﻋﺘ‬ ‫ﻕ ﺍ‬ ‫ﺪ ﹺ‬ ‫ﺻ‬
 ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬
‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻮﹺﺑﻴ‬‫ﺮﺑ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﻌﹰﺎ‬‫ﺧﺎﺿ‬
And despite my sincere confessions
and my entreaties submissively
made to Your divinity?

‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺭﺑ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻊ‬ ‫ﻀﻴ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻥ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻡ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺖ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻛ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﺕ ﹶﺍ‬
 ‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻫﻴ‬

Nay, You are far too kind and

generous to destroy one whom You
have nourished

Or drive away from Yourself

one whom You have
brought him near You

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻦ ﺁ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﺸﺮ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬

Or drive away one

whom You have given shelter

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺭ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﻛ ﹶﻔ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻼ ِﺀ‬‫ﺍﻟﹶﻰ ﺍﹾﻟﺒ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺴﻠﱢ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬

Or to abandon in affliction one You

have maintained and to whom You
have been merciful

 ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﳍﻲ‬‫ﻭﺍ‬ ‫ﺪﻱ‬‫ﺳﻴ‬ ‫ﺮﻯ ﻳﺎ‬‫ﺷﻌ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﻟ‬

I wish I had known O' my Master,

my God and my Lord!

 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻌ ﹶﻈ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
 ‫ﺧﺮ‬ ‫ﻮﻩ‬‫ﻭﺟ‬ ‫ﻠﻰ‬‫ﺭ ﻋ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻂ ﺍﻟﻨ‬
‫ﺴﻠﱢ ﹸ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﺪ ﹰﺓ‬ ‫ﺳﺎ ﹺﺟ‬

Will You inflict fire upon faces

which have submissively bowed in
prostration to Your greatness

 ‫ﺩ ﹶﻗ ﹰﺔ‬ ‫ﻙ ﺻﺎ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺣﻴ‬‫ﺘﻮ‬‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﻧ ﹶﻄ ﹶﻘ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﻠﻰ ﹶﺍﹾﻟﺴ‬‫ﻭﻋ‬

Or upon the tongues which have

sincerely confirmed Your unity?

 ‫ﺣ ﹰﺔ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﻙ ﻣﺎ‬ ‫ﺸ ﹾﻜ ﹺﺮ‬
 ‫ﻭﹺﺑ‬

And always expressed

gratitude to You

 ‫ﺤﻘﱢ ﹶﻘ ﹰﺔ‬
 ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﳍﻴ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﺮ ﹶﻓ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻠﻰ ﹸﻗﻠﹸﻮﺏ ﺍ‬‫ﻭﻋ‬

Or upon hearts which have faithfully

acknowledged Your divinity

 ‫ﻌ ﹾﻠ ﹺﻢ ﹺﺑ‬ ‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
 ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺋ‬‫ﻤﺎ‬‫ﻠﻰ ﺿ‬‫ﻭﻋ‬
‫ﻌ ﹰﺔ‬ ‫ﺷ‬ ‫ﺕ ﺧﺎ‬
 ‫ﺭ‬ ‫ﻰ ﺻﺎ‬‫ﺣﺘ‬
Or upon the souls which
accumulated so much knowledge
of You until they became
submissive to You

 ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻌﺒ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻥ‬ ‫ﻃﺎ‬‫ﱃ ﹶﺍﻭ‬‫ﺖ ﺍ‬  ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﺡ‬
 ‫ﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ‬‫ﻠﻰ ﺟ‬‫ﻭﻋ‬
‫ﻌ ﹰﺔ‬ ‫ﺋ‬‫ﻃﺎ‬

Or upon the limbs which strove, to

the places of Your worship
obediently

And we were not informed of Your

grace as such

To bear even a minor affliction of

this world and its consequence

‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻫﻠ‬ ‫ﻠﻰ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﻩ ﻋ‬ ‫ﻜﺎ ﹺﺭ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﹾﻟﻤ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺮﻱ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ‬‫ﻳﺠ‬ ‫ﻣﺎ‬‫ﻭ‬

And the afflictions

on the dwellers of the earth

 ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻠﻰ ﹶﺍﻥﱠ ﺫ‬‫ﻋ‬

Although
such afflictions are transient

 ‫ﻩ ﻗﹶﺼ‬ ‫ﺅ‬ ‫ﻘﺎ‬‫ﲑ ﺑ‬

Short-lived and momentary

 ‫ﺓ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﻼ ِﺀ ﺍ ﹾﻻ‬‫ﻟﺒ‬ ‫ﻤﺎﱄ‬‫ﺣﺘ‬ ‫ﻒ ﺍ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜ‬

How then can I bear the

punishments of the hereafter

Which are enormous

‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻘﺎ‬‫ﻡ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻭ‬‫ﻳﺪ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﻣﺪ‬ ‫ﺗﻄﹸﻮ ﹸﻝ‬ ‫ﻼ ٌﺀ‬‫ﻮ ﺑ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

And of intensive sufferings of

prolonged period
and perpetual duration

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﺨﻔﱠ‬
 ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬

And which will never be eased

for those who deserve

 ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻘﺎ‬‫ﻭﺍﹾﻧﺘ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻀﹺﺒ‬
 ‫ﻦ ﹶﻏ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻳﻜﹸﻮ ﹸﻥ ﺇﻻﹼ‬ ‫ﻪ ﻻ‬ ‫ﻻﻧ‬َ
‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻄ‬ ‫ﺨ‬
 ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

The same as those retributions will

be the result of Your wrath and
Your punishment

Which neither the heavens nor the

earth can withstand and bear!

 ‫ﻜ‬‫ﻤﺴ‬ ‫ﺍﹾﻟ‬

Whence I am a weak, insignificant,

humble, poor and destitute
servant of Yours

Which of the matters

shall I complain to You

 ‫ﻬﺎ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﻣﻨ‬ ‫ﻤﺎ‬‫ﻭﻟ‬

And for which of them

shall I bewail and weep?

For the pains and pangs

of the punishment and their intensity

Or for the length of sufferings

and their duration?

 ‫ﺋ‬‫ﺪﺍ‬‫ﻊ ﹶﺍﻋ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺕ‬
 ‫ﻌﻘﹸﻮﺑﺎ‬ ‫ﻟ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﲎ‬‫ﺮﺗ‬ ‫ﺻﻴ‬
 ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﺌ‬‫ﹶﻓ ﹶﻠ‬

Therefore if You subject me to the

penalties in company of Your
enemies

 ‫ﺋ‬‫ﻼ‬‫ﻫ ﹺﻞ ﺑ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﲏ‬‫ﺑﻴ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

And cast me with those to whom

Your punishments are assigned

 ‫ ﹾﻗ‬‫ ﹶﻓﺮ‬‫ﻭ‬

And separate me from Your beloved

and Your friends

Therefore supposing that (shame on me)

But how can I cope

being separated from You

I reckon – O my God!

patiently endure the burning fire

 ‫ﻒ ﹶﺍ‬

Yet how can I be patient by not

looking at Your clemency?

How can I dwell in the fire whence

my hopes are in Your forgiveness?

 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﻦ‬‫ﺿﺠ‬
 ‫ﻻ‬َ

I shall amongst its inmates cry out

bewailing unto You hopefully

 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺴ‬
 ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺥ ﺍﹾﻟ‬

 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﺧﻦ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺻ‬
 ‫ﻭ َﹶﻻ‬

Like the cry of those awaiting trial

 ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﺪﻳ‬‫ﻜﺎ َﺀ ﺍﻟﹾﻔﺎﻗ‬‫ﻚ ﺑ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﻴﻦ‬‫ﻜ‬ ‫ﺑ‬‫ﻭ َﹶﻻ‬

And I shall cry for You the cry of

those who are deprived

 ‫ﻨ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ ﺍﹾﻟ‬‫ﻟﻲ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﺖ ﻳﺎ‬
 ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹸﻛ‬ ‫ﻳ‬‫ﻚ ﹶﺍ‬
 ‫ﻳﻨ‬‫ﺩ‬ ‫ ﹶﻻُﻧﺎ‬‫ﻭ‬

And I shall keep on calling You

"Where are You
O' Friend of the believers!

 ‫ﻳ ﹶﺔ ﺁﻣﺎ ﹺﻝ ﺍﻟﹾﻌﺎﺭﹺﻓ‬‫ﻳﺎ ﻏﺎ‬

O' the last hope and resort of those

who acknowledge You

 ‫ﻐﻴﺜ‬‫ﺴﺘ‬
 ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺙ ﺍﹾﻟ‬
‫ﻴﺎ ﹶ‬‫ﻳﺎ ﻏ‬
O’ You who are the helper of those
seeking help!

O' the Beloved to the hearts of the

truthful!

And O' You who are

the Lord of the universe."

Would You? My God!

Glory and praise be to You

‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺨﺎﹶﻟ ﹶﻔ‬‫ﻦ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ ﹺﺑﻤ‬ ‫ﺠ‬
‫ﺳ ﹺ‬
Hear the voice of a Muslim
imprisoned therein (the hell) for his
disobedience

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬‫ﺼ‬
 ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺬﺍﺑﹺﻬﺎ ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻢ ﻋ‬ ‫ﻌ‬ ‫ﻕ ﹶﻃ‬
 ‫ﺫﺍ‬‫ﻭ‬

And tastes the chastisement of hell

because of his disobedience

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺮﻳ‬‫ﻭﺟ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺠ‬
 ‫ﻬﺎ ﹺﺑ‬‫ﻦ ﹶﺍﻃﹾﺒﺎﻗ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﺲ‬
 ‫ﺣﹺﺒ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

And imprisoned in its pits for his

evildoings and misdeeds

 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻟ‬ ‫ﻞ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺞ‬
 ‫ﺠﻴ‬‫ﻚ ﺿ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﻀﺞ‬
 ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

Crying out to You the utterance of

one who has faith in Your mercy

 ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺣﻴ‬‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﻫ ﹺﻞ‬ ‫ﻥ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﺴﺎ‬‫ﻚ ﹺﺑﻠ‬
 ‫ﻨﺎﺩﻳ‬‫ﻭﻳ‬

And calling out to You in the

language of those who believe in
Your unity

 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻮﹺﺑﻴ‬‫ﺮﺑ‬ ‫ﻚ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ‬ ‫ ﹸﻞ‬‫ﻮﺳ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻳ‬‫ﻭ‬

And seeking to approach You by

means of Your Lordship

‫ﺬﺍ ﹺ‬‫ﻲ ﺍﹾﻟﻌ‬‫ﻘﻰ ﻓ‬‫ﻳﺒ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻱ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜ‬
 ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻣﻮ‬ ‫ﻳﺎ‬

My Lord! Then how could he remain

in the chastisement

 ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﺳ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﻮ ﻣﺎ‬‫ﺮﺟ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

Whence he hopefully relies upon

Your past forbearance?

And how can the fire cause him

suffering

 ‫ﻳﺄﹾﻣ ﹸﻞ ﹶﻓ‬ ‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

Whence he hopes
Your grace and mercy

And how can its flames burn him

 ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬

When You hear his voice and

You see his position?

 ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻡ ﹶﻛ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻌ ﹶﻔ‬ ‫ﺿ‬
 ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻌ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﺖ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬
And how can he withstand its roaring
flames when You know his frailty?

 ‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻦ ﹶﺍﻃﹾﺒﺎﻗ‬ ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﺘ ﹶﻘ ﹾﻠ ﹶﻘ ﹸﻞ‬‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻡ ﹶﻛ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺪ ﹶﻗ‬ ‫ﺻ‬
 ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻌ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﺖ‬  ‫ﻧ‬‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬
And how can he be tossed about
between its levels when
You know his sincerity?

 ‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻴﺘ‬‫ﺑﺎﹺﻧ‬‫ﻩ ﺯ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﺰ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻡ ﹶﻛ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺭﺑ‬ ‫ﻚ ﻳﺎ‬ ‫ﻨﺎﺩﻳ‬‫ﻮ ﻳ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﻭ‬
And how can the guards of hell
threaten him when he calls out to
You? "My Lord",

 ‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻣﻨ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﻘ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻚ ﰲ‬
 ‫ﻀ ﹶﻠ‬
 ‫ﻮ ﹶﻓ‬‫ﺮﺟ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻒ‬  ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻡ ﹶﻛ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﻪ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ‬ ‫ﺮ ﹸﻛ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﹶﻓ‬
And how would You abandon him
therein (the hell) when he has faith in
Your grace to set him free?

 ‫ﻭ‬‫ﻌﺮ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﺍﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻦ ﹺﺑ‬ ‫ﻚ ﺍﻟﻈﱠ‬  ‫ﻟ‬‫ﺕ ﻣﺎ ﺫ‬
 ‫ﻬﺎ‬‫ﻫﻴ‬
‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻀ‬
 ‫ﻦ ﹶﻓ‬ ‫ﻣ‬

Alas! That is not the concept (held by

us) of You nor has Your grace such
a reputation

 ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﺪﻳ‬‫ﻮﺣ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻪ ﺍﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﻣ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﻤﺎ ﻋﺎ‬‫ﻪ ﻟ‬ ‫ﺸﹺﺒ‬
 ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬
‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﺴﺎﹺﻧ‬‫ﺍﺣ‬‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹺﺑﺮ‬ ‫ﻣ‬
Nor does it resemble that which You
have awarded by Your
Kindness and generosity to those
who believe in Your unity

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ ﹶﻜ‬ ‫ﻮ ﻻ ﻣﺎ‬ ‫ﻊ ﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﲔ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻗ ﹶﻄ‬
‫ﻘ ﹺ‬‫ﹶﻓﺒﹺﺎﹾﻟﻴ‬
‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﺪﻳ‬‫ﺐ ﺟﺎﺣ‬ ‫ﺬﻳ ﹺ‬‫ﺗﻌ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬
I definitely conclude that had You
not ordained punishment
for those who disbelieved in You

 ‫ﻳ‬‫ﻌﺎﹺﻧﺪ‬‫ﺩ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻼ‬‫ﺍﺧ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺖ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﻀ‬
 ‫ﻭ ﹶﻗ‬

And had You not decreed Your

enemies to remain in Hell.

 ‫ﻌ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﺠ‬
 ‫ﹶﻟ‬

You would have made the hell

cold and peaceful

 ‫ﻘﺎﻣﹰﺎ‬‫ﻻ ﻣ‬‫ﹰﺍ ﻭ‬‫ﻣ ﹶﻘﺮ‬ ‫ﺪ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ‬‫ﻻﺣ‬َ ‫ﺖ‬‫ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎﻧ‬‫ﻭ‬

And there would never have been an

abode or place for any one in it

 ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﺗ ﹶﻘﺪ‬ ‫ﻚ‬

But sanctified be Your Names

You have sworn to fill the hell

with the disbelievers

From amongst
the jinn and mankind together

And to place forever

Your enemies therein

And You, exalted be Your praises

You had said in the beginning

Out of Your generosity and kindness

 ‫ﻘﹰﺎ‬‫ﻦ ﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﻓﺎﺳ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻨﹰﺎ ﹶﻛ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻦ ﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﹶﺃ ﹶﻓ‬
‫ﻭ ﹶﻥ‬‫ﺘﻮ‬‫ﺴ‬ ‫ﻳ‬ ‫ﻻ‬
Is he then who is a believer like him
who is a transgressor?
They are not equal

 ‫ﺳﹶﺄﹸﻟ‬ ‫ﺪﻯ ﹶﻓﹶﺄ‬‫ﺳﻴ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﳍﻰ‬‫ﺍ‬

My Lord! My Master!
I, therefore implore You by that
power which You determined

 ‫ﻭﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ‬

And by the decree which You have

finalized and ordained

 ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﻏ ﹶﻠ‬

Whereby You had prevailed upon

whom You have imposed it

‫ﺔ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﻩ ﺍﻟﺴ‬ ‫ﺬ‬ ‫ﰲ ﻫ‬‫ﺔ ﻭ‬ ‫ﻴ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﻩ ﺍﻟﻠﱠ‬ ‫ﺬ‬ ‫ﺐ ﱃ ﰱ ﻫ‬
 ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﺍﹶ ﹾﻥ‬

To bestow upon me this night

and this very hour

The forgiveness for all the

transgressions that I am guilty of

that I have kept secret

‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﺍ ﹾﻇ‬ ‫ﻪ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺧ ﹶﻔ‬ ‫ﻪ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻪ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﹶﻛ‬

Secretly or openly
in concealment or outwardly

 ‫ﺒ‬‫ﻡ ﺍﻟﹾﻜﺎﺗ‬ ‫ﺮﺍ‬‫ﺎ ﺍﹾﻟﻜ‬‫ﺗﻬ‬‫ﺎﺛﹾﺒﺎ‬‫ﺕ ﹺﺑ‬
 ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺌﹶﺔ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﺳﻴ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹸﻛﻞﱠ‬

And for every evil action that You

have ordered the two noble scribes

To confirm whom You have

appointed to record all my actions

 ‫ﻮﺍﺭﹺﺣﻲ‬‫ﻊ ﺟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻋ ﹶﻠﻲ‬ ‫ﻮﺩﹰﺍ‬‫ﺷﻬ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻌ ﹾﻠ‬ ‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

And to be witnesses over me along

with the limbs of my body

 ‫ﻧ‬‫ﺖ ﹶﺍ‬
 ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹸﻛ‬

Whilst You observed me

besides them

 ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﻲ‬ ‫ﻔ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﻤﺎ‬‫ﺪ ﻟ‬ ‫ﻫ‬ ‫ﺎ‬‫ﺍﻟﺸ‬‫ﻭ‬

And a witness to those acts

concealed from them?

 ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻀ‬
 ‫ﻭﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ‬ ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺧ ﹶﻔ‬ ‫ﻚ ﹶﺍ‬
 ‫ﺘ‬‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻭﹺﺑ‬

Which You in Your mercy have kept

secret and through Your kindness
unexposed

 ‫ﻪ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺰﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﻧ‬‫ﺮ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﺧﻴ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹸﻛﻞﱢ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺣﻈﹼﻲ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻮﻓﱢ‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ ﹾﻥ‬

And I pray to You to make my share

plentiful in all the good that You
bestow

 ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﻭ ﹺﺑﺮ‬ ‫ﻪ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ ﹾﻠ‬‫ﺴﺎﻥ ﹶﻓﻀ‬‫ﺍﺣ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬

Or in all the favors that You grant

and in all the virtues
that You spread

 ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ﻕ‬‫ﻭ ﹺﺭﺯ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
‫ﻩ‬ ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺴ‬
 ‫ﺗ‬ ‫ﺧﻄﹶﺄ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﹶﺍ‬
Or the sustenance and livelihood that
You expand or the sins that You
forgive or the wrongs that You

O' my God! My Lord! My King!

O' Master of my freedom!

O' You who holds my destiny

And who is aware of my suffering

and poverty?

I beseech You
by Yourself and Your Glory

By Your supremely high attributes

and by Your names

‫ﺭ ﹰﺓ‬ ‫ﻮ‬‫ﻌﻤ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺬ ﹾﻛ ﹺﺮ‬ ‫ﹺﺑ‬
To cause me to utilize my time
day and night
in Your remembrance

By engaging myself in serving You

And my deeds be acceptable to You

So that all my actions and
recitals be transformed into one
continuous and sustained effort

And bestow upon me

the eagerness to fear You

And constantly to serve You

 ‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﺳ‬ ‫ﻰ ﹶﺍ‬‫ﺣﺘ‬

So that I may lead myself towards

You in the field with the vanguards
who are in the fore rank

 ‫ﻴ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﻉ‬
 ‫ﺳ ﹺﺮ‬ ‫ﻭﹸﺍ‬

And be swift towards You among

those who hasten towards You

 ‫ﺘﺎ‬‫ﻭﹶﺍﺷ‬

And urge eagerly to be near You

And draw myself towards You like

them who sincerely draw themselves

 ‫ﻨ‬‫ﻮﻗ‬‫ﺨﺎ ﹶﻓ ﹶﺔ ﺍﹾﻟﻤ‬‫ﻚ ﻣ‬
 ‫ﻭﺍﹶﺧﺎ ﹶﻓ‬

And to fear You like the fear of those

who believe firmly in You

 ‫ﻨ‬‫ﺆﻣ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﻊ ﺍﹾﻟ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﻊ ﰱ ﺟﹺﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫ﺘ‬‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬

And thus I may congregate

by You with the faithful

 ‫ﻩ‬ ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﻮﺀ ﹶﻓﹶﺎ ﹺﺭ‬‫ﱐ ﹺﺑﺴ‬‫ﻦ ﺍﹶﺭﺍﺩ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻬﻢ‬ ‫ﺍﹶﻟﻠﹼ‬

O' Allah! Whosoever intended evil

against me, let ill befall on him

 ‫ﻩ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻜ‬ ‫ﱐ ﹶﻓ‬‫ﻦ ﻛﺎﺩ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻭ‬

And frustrate him who plots against me

‫ﻙ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻋ‬ ‫ﺼﻴﺒﹰﺎ‬‫ﻙ ﻧ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺒﻴ‬‫ﺴ ﹺﻦ ﻋ‬
 ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﻦ ﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻌﻠﹾﲏ‬ ‫ﺟ‬ ‫ﺍ‬‫ﻭ‬

And make me among the best of

Your servants in Your presence

 ‫ﻳ‬‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﺯﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﹰﺔ ﹶﻟ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ ﹺﻬ‬‫ﺧﺼ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﻨ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻨ ﹺﺰﹶﻟ ﹰﺔ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺮﹺﺑ ﹺﻬ‬ ‫ﻭﹶﺍ ﹾﻗ‬

And the nearer than them in rank by You.

And the more superior before You

 ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻀ‬
 ‫ﻚ ﺇﻻﹼ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ‬
 ‫ﻟ‬‫ﻨﺎ ﹸﻝ ﺫ‬‫ﻪ ﻻ ﻳ‬ ‫ﺎﻧ‬‫ﹶﻓ‬

For verily that position cannot be

attained except through Your grace

And treat me benevolently

And extend
Your extreme generosity towards me

And by Your mercy protect me

And make my tongue to utter

Your remembrance

‫ﺤ‬

And be liberal to me
by Your gracious response

And cause my evils to appear fewer

and forgive me my errors

For verily You have ordained for

Your servants Your worship

 ‫ﻭ‬ ‫ﻚ‬
 ‫ﺋ‬‫ﻋﺎ‬‫ﻢ ﹺﺑﺪ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ‫ﺗ‬‫ﺮ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻭﺍﹶ‬

And bidden them to supplicate unto

You and have assured them
of Your response

 ‫ﺒ‬ ‫ﺼ‬
 ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﺭﺏ‬ ‫ﻚ ﻳﺎ‬

So, my Lord!
I look earnestly towards You

 ‫ﺩ‬ ‫ﺪ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺭﺏ‬ ‫ﻚ ﻳﺎ‬

And towards You, my Lord! I have

stretched forth my hands therefore,

 ‫ﺗ‬‫ﻌﺰ‬ ‫ﹶﻓﹺﺒ‬

By Your honor
respond to my supplication and let
me attain my wishes

 ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻀ‬
 ‫ﻦ ﹶﻓ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻊ‬ ‫ﺗ ﹾﻘ ﹶﻄ‬ ‫ﻻ‬‫ﻭ‬

And by Your grace

Do not break my hopes

‫ﻧ ﹺ‬‫ﺍ ِﹾﻻ‬‫ ﻭ‬‫ﺠﻦ‬
‫ ﺍﹾﻟ ﹺ‬‫ﺷﺮ‬ ‫ﲏ‬‫ﺍ ﹾﻛﻔ‬‫ﻭ‬

And protect me from the evil of

my enemies
from among the jinn and mankind

O’ (Merciful) Swift! in being pleased

Forgive one who owns nothing

but supplication

O' You! Whose Name is remedy and

Whose remembrance is cure

And His obedience wealth

 ‫ﺭﹾﺃ‬ ‫ﻦ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ ‫ﺣ‬ ‫ﺭ‬ ‫ﺍ‬

Have mercy on one whose asset is hope

And whose armor is to weep

O' You! Whose

Bounties are in abundance and Who
removes all misfortunes!

O' Light! Who illuminated

those in the dark!
