animal population control. The AHA provided on ways that can slow down the rate of
euthanizing animals that may soon lead to a resolution of euthanized animals in shelters
due to overcrowding. The AHA main suggestion in this article is sterilization of animals
and determining the appropriate age of sterilization. This article brought attention to the
main cause of overcrowding which is people are returning the animals they adopted. The
AHA provided information for their readers to help slow down that rate at which animals

credible website when it comes to research on animal cruelty. PETA is the largest animal
rights organization in the world. PETA focuses on four main issues; factory farming, fur

problem and why they arent helping the situation. PETA addresses euthanizing is not the
problem; having to euthanize, and the situations leading up to euthanasia, are the
problem. Although biased the article lists different ways as to how No-Kill policies still
arent helping, and backing their opinions with examples and facts. At the end of the
article they provide a logical solution that encourages the reader to get involved.
