Numb 4:14
0:00 Verse 1
Piano and solo vocals begin, simple and repetitive.
Violins are added. The verse starts off the song with a
feeling of frustration and being stuck in one place.

0:15 Pre-chorus
The piano and violin continue, with added vocals
harmonizing with the main vocals. Multiple soprano
voices are added, chanting a simple he, giving the feel
of old religious music with polyphonic chants.

0:30 Chorus
The vocals and piano continue. A simple, slow beat is added
from a bass. With all the voices harmonizing it gives the song a
hopeful and excited feeling. Key terms such as golden light
and sacrifice add to the religious feel.

0:45 Hook
Everything but the piano, one violin, and one voice stops, the
piano is simple and the voice just says, burn burn burn bright.

0:50 Verse 2
The piano and violin plucking continue with the bass coming
back. The verse is almost the same as the first, but with
different lyrics and the added instruments.

1:05 Pre-chorus
The pre-chorus is exactly the same as before.

1:20 Chorus
The chorus is the same as before.

1:30 Hook
The hook is the same as before but it repeats itself once
and a bass is added.

1:40 Bridge
Everything becomes quieter and the vocals lower in pitch.
The piano and violins are slower, with more whole notes.
This gives a feeling of sadness and loss. Everything
crescendos and the beat is closer to a half note, giving a
more positive feeling, leading into the chorus.

2:15 Chorus
The chorus is the same, but with the polyphonic chants at the
end. Then the chorus repeats itself one more time, with an added
sacrifice sung by the vocals at the end.

2:45 Outro
The instruments continue, with the vocals singing the pre-chorus.
Everything is harmonized well.

3:00
The outro continues with new lyrics. The instruments still
continue the same.

3:20
The pre-chorus lyrics are repeated.

3:35
The previous lyrics from the outro are repeated, with the
music beginning to quiet a small amount.

3:50
The instruments and vocals begin to fade away, the
vocals just repeat dum da dum. Most instruments and
vocals end before the song is over. The piano and few
vocals end the song. The beauty is in the harmonization
and most of the song being in major mode. All of this
gives the feeling of a victory.

Primadonna 3:14
0:00 Chorus
The vocals begin without an introduction with pickup
notes that lead into the next measure. The keyboard
and guitar accompany the vocals. The vocals and
instruments are in MezzoPiano dynamic. The
instruments crescendo throughout the chorus. It is in
duple meter with simple division. The melody is
smooth, making it a conjunct melody. The lyrics do not
seem to match the simplistic and pleasant sound,
discussing being a Primadonna girl.

0:30 Verse 1
The music becomes very loud abruptly. The vocals lower in pitch and
sound more sarcastic. A strong drum beat and synthesizer are loud
and almost distracting. The verse is still in duple meter and simple
division. The contrast between the chorus to the verse helps the
feeling of the sarcastic image of a girl who thinks she deserves the
world.

1:00 Pre-chorus
The instruments continue in the same beat but there are backup
vocals that begin saying oh and yeah after the lead vocals. The
lyrics are about being sad and wanting to be adored.

1:15 chorus
The phrase Im a primadonna girl leads into the chorus. Everything is
the same as the first chorus.

1:45 Verse 2
The instruments and vocals sound the same. The words
are different, with the same idea of being a pretentious girl
who wants all of the attention. It ends in I know Ive got a
big ego, I dont know why its such a big deal, though,
leading into the pre-chorus just like the first verse.

2:15 Pre-chorus 2
The beat and vocals are the same sound, but the lyrics are
different. It still leads into the chorus with primadonna
girl.

2:30 Chorus
The chorus repeats the same as before.

3:00 Chorus
The last syllable the vocals say is repeated leading into
the last repetition of the chorus. This time the chorus is
much louder with the drum beat and synthesizer from
the verses and keyboards and guitar from the previous
chorus. The vocals are louder as well. This pulls the
song together and ends with primadonna girl fading
out.

How to be a Heartbreaker 3:41

0:00 Verse 1
The song starts with a simple guitar beat arched and
repeating. Then the vocals start as well as a keyboard
generated clap. Both the clap and the guitar become
muffled when the vocals begin. Everything is very fast
paced and repetitive, in duple meter and simple
division. When the vocals say Rule number 2, the
other instruments become clearer and louder.

0:30 Chorus
The words how to be a heartbreaker lead into the
chorus, harmonized with the same vocals over the original.
The instruments repeat faster and stop when the vocals
start heartbreaker. Then a loud synthesized beat starts
as well as a keyboard drum beat. The rhythm is faster than
in the verse, still in duple meter. The simple and repetitive
beats along with the vocals being easy to sing along with
make the song upbeat and fun to dance to. Then
everything stops and the vocals speak At least I think I
do. Then the chorus leads into the next verse with the
instruments picking back up and the vocals sing oo in an
arch.

1:15 Verse 2
Verse 2 is very similar to verse 1, but the guitar and
clap start off loud with another drum beat added. There
is no build up like the first verse. The vocals continue to
harmonize. The lyrics follow the same outline, with rules
3 and 4 about how to be a heartbreaker.

1:40 Chorus
The chorus has the same build up as the first time, the
lyrics and rhythm are the same. The only difference is
that the At least I think I do is whispered, making it
seem more like a secret being spoken.

2:20 Bridge
The bridge is drastically different from the rest of the
song and sticks out. The music slows down and is in
minor mode rather than major. The vocals
decrescendo after each pause. There are slow
keyboard made beats and a claps. A guitar is even
quieter accompanied as well. The contrast between
the vocals in the bridge and the rest of the song is
apparent. The vocals are about not wanting to be
heartbroken and why that is the reasoning behind
these girls being heartbreakers themselves.

2:55 Chorus
The chorus is the same as previously, with the
