Rarely do I find great beauty and great virtue dwelling together. Petrarch wrote lyrics
of poetry dealing with individuals and he wanted to share the knowledge for the public good.
In his sonnets, Petrarch praises her beauty and perfection by using various metaphors that are
usually connected with natural beauties. In Sonnet 140 by Petrarch, he separated between god
of love and ones own self as a poet. It might secure to establish thinking about land and
money.
Therefore, it is right that we more greatly benefit those better connected to us.
The nearness of one man to another can be measured by what matters they share; such as
sharing natural matters or fellow-citizens in political matters. The faithful in spiritual matters,
and similarly concerning other matters. Various affinities are fitting to arrange different
benefits for the one concerning the matter in which he is most closely connected with us,
simply speaking. Yet this principle can be changed according to various places, times, and
troubles; for instance, it is fitting for anyone to help a stranger in extreme need, rather than
even ones own father if he is not in great need.
After reading sonnets, I realized Periclean literature, it is composed of fine-spun
prompts and rapid development, elaborate and delicate descriptions. Especially, breaking
from class literature of the Three Unities principle shows that literature of the renaissance had
been established by itself without effects from class literature. Three Unities principle is a
coincidence of time, place, and composition. These have to happen in the same place. Even if
it has composition, just the story was limited to one topic. 15th and 16th century literatures

reflect love in constant various places and in various times by getting out of principle on
classic art. In particular, they indicated to make use of subplot that small narratives arranged
in parallel. Shakespeare was like using technical methods of allegory, he expressed value to
be revered in every one of the characters and loves, is the direction of the pursuit that corrects
life of its value, besides it is able to defend it to implement the poetic definition he depicted.
Finally it shows how a human being is great, and should be respected.
