    WOD 8 / 25 I really enjoyed reading the quotation from the survivor of one of the concentration camps. The actions they described were unthinkable and inhumane, but the people performing these actions were well educated and most likely among the respected in this society. I can help but to wonder; Are we pushed to succeed in society so that we can have the means to perpetrate those "beneath" us, or to be in a position where we can make this world a better place?

    I really enjoyed reading the quotation from the survivor of one of the
    concentration camps. The actions they described were unthinkable and
    inhumane. However, the people performing these actions were well
    educated and most likely among the respected in this society. This
    quotation for me brought the idea of education into a new light. I can
    help but to wonder; Are we pushed to succeed in society so that we
    can have the means to perpetrate those beneath us, or to be in a
    position where we can make this world a better place?
