Trigonometryisabranchofgeometrythatdealswiththerelationbetweensidesandanglesof
triangles.ItissaidtohaveoriginatedfromHipparchuswhoisagreekastronomer,geographer,and
mathematician.However,theBabylonians,Egyptians,andearlierGreeksalsoaresaidtohavecontributed
tothedevelopmentofTrigonometry.Althoughthismaybetrue,Hipparchusisthefirsttohavecreateda
tableofchords*.Trigonometrywasinitiallyusedinastronomyandgeographyovertimescientistswere
abletofindotherusage.Forexampletrigonometryusedinbothengineeringandphysics.Thefollowing
engineeringcareersuseTrigonometry:AerospaceEngineering,CivilEngineering,andMechanical
engineering.Itisusedtodesignandmaintainstructures,machines,andsystemsofsorts.

frustratingbecauseKhanwouldteachhowtodothisandthatbutwhenIreachedtotheproblemsetsand
wouldstrugglebecauseIdidntknowwhatdoforthegivenproblems.Buthopewasnotlostforbeing
Eazyeakaruthlesshelpedmedomoreresearchtounderstandit.
