(2)Wiring harnesses plug into this switch

NOTE: There are small clips in the harness
You need small screwdriver to release the
small harness, the large harness has built
in plastic levers to release large plug.

Stop Light Switch Retaining Clip

Depress & Turn 1/4 Turn CLOCKWISE

I was curious as to why the switch didnt

work so I took it apart to see how it was
made and what the problem was.

Switch has a plate with two contact points.

Plate is depressed by the plunger and circuit
is complete
This is the reason the BAS, and ABS Lights
come on, contact is burnt, surface is uneven
unlike the other smooth contact.
