5. What is the significance of ToK to subject teachers?
6. What approaches to learning from IB do you incorporate into your lesson
planning?
7. What aspect of IB helps with students Social-Emotional development?
8. How do you include International-Mindedness into your lessons?
9. What is CAS and why is it included in the IB programme?
10. The job entails teaching some classes of MYP, how does MYP differ from DP?

B) After researching ibo.org and the OCC, create questions that you believe may be
asked when being interviewed for a position in IB.

C) General Questions asked in interviews for a teaching position or ToC
1. What does assessment mean to you? What are your thoughts on assessment vs.
evaluation?
2. What are assessments of, as, and for learning, and how did you use them?
3. Describe your best lesson. Why was it so good?
4. Describe a lesson that did not go so well. Why? What did you learn? What will
you do in the future?
5. How did you deal with negative behaviour in the classroom?
6. How do you create a sense of community in the classroom?
7. Describe a situation when you had to deal with a very persistent parent. How did
you deal with it?
8. What did you do when students were just not "getting it?
9. How do you address diversity in the classroom?
10. In what ways did you participate in the school community and how are you
planning to get involved here?

12. What are your strengths/what makes you a good teacher?
