A CASE

A 25-year-old paraplegic man who

had sustained a T3/T4 vertebral
compression fracture 3 years
previously presented with severe,
painful spasm of the left hamstring
muscle group of 2 hours' duration.
This spasm produced extreme knee
flexion of a degree which held the left
foot posterior to the right buttock.

BACLOFEN

PO, absorbsi cepat, T 3 sd 4 jam

(PE, Intratekal)
Dosis 2x 15 mg
Hati-hati pada px epilepsi

TIZANIDINE

Golongan clonidin
Agonis adrenoceptor-2
Meningkatkan hambatan prasinaps dan
pascasinaps pada corda
Menghambat transmisi nosiseptif pada
cornu dorsalis medula spinalis
Efikasi sebanding dengan diazepam,
baclofen dan dantrolen
ES : kantuk, hipotensi, mulut kering dan
astenia

DANTROLENE

Derivat hydantoin
Intracellular calcium release
PO hanya 1/3 diabsorbsi
Waktu paruh 8 jam
Dosis 25 mg/hr sbg dosis tunggal
ES : kelemahan otot menyeluruh, sedasi,
hepatitis
Hipertermia maligna IV 1mg/kg sd 10
mg/kg
