Homework:
Homework problems will be assigned regularly along with a due date (usually Thursdays).
Homework must be turned in, on the due date, in class, before the class starts.
Exams:
There will be one in-class exam (75 min.) during the semester and an in-class
comprehensive final exam (3 hours) at the end of the semester on the following dates.
Students must bring a calculator. However, cell phones are not permitted to be used as
calculators for the exams. Make up exams may be given with an advanced notice.
Midterm Exam: Thursday, March 5, 2015
Final Exam: 12:30 - 3:30 pm, Monday, May 4, 2015.
Grading:
The final grade will be based on a composite score of all the points coming from the
exams and homework. The break up for the final grade will be as follows:

Midterm Exam: 35%

A: 90 -100 B: 80 - 89 C: 70 - 79 D: 60 - 69 F: 59 and below

and password. After logging in, go to the appropriate STAT 312 under My Courses.
Computer
Access:
I expect students to have access to a computer where they have Minitab. Minitab can be
downloaded from the software center at CWRU.
Help:
Karlie Budge and Yulei Wang will be my teaching assistants and they will be able to help
with grading and provide tutoring helps. Their tutoring hours are:
