1. Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib, which was built in the year 1948 and, is dedicat
ed to the first Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The gurudwara comprises of Darbar Sahib,
Diwan Hall and Langar Hall. In the Sukhaasan Room, Guru Granth Sahib, the holy
book of Sikh, has been placed.
2. Bidar Fort was built by Sultan Alla-Ud-Din Bahman of the Bahmani Dynasty., wh
en his capital was moved from Gulbarga to Bidar in 1427 . Architecturally,Archit
ecturally the fort is a specimen of the Persian architectural style having a. 1.
21 km in length and 0.80 km in breadth
3. Narasimha Jhira Cave Temple is popularly known as the Jharani Narasimha Templ
e. A self-manifested deity, Narasimha Dev is enshrined within this cave temple.
Within the cave, a stream of water is said to be flowing continuously since the
foundation of the temple.
4. Rangin Mahal is one of the best preserved monuments inside the Bidar Fort com
plex. It is situated close to the Gumbad Gate. Built in mid-16th century, this m
onument features six-bay hall that hascomprises carved wood columns in rectangul
ar form.
5. Papnash Shiva Temple is popular, among locals as well as tourists as it is be
lieved that the Shiva linga in this temple was installed by Lord Rama. According
to legends, Lord Rama installed the Shiva linga in the temple while returning f
rom Lanka.
6. Mohamad Gawan Madarsa is the remains of an ancient theological college, which
is situated in the old town of Bidar. This madarsa was built in 1472 by Gawan,
who was a Persian exile and scholar of the Bahmani court.
7. Bahmani Tombs are located in Ashtoor, which is just 4 km from East of Bidar.
These 12 tombs are large mausoleums that feature arches, niches and lofty domes.

8. The Solah Khamba Mosque was built by Qubil Sultani between 1423 and 1424. The
mosque derives it s name from the 16 pillars that are lined in the front of the s
tructure. Popularly known as the Zanana Masjid, this mosque is about 90 metres l
ong and 24 metres wide.
9. Chaubara is an old cylindrical tower, which is 22 metres high and is situated
in the heart of Bidar town. This building serves as a watchtower, from where be
autiful views of the entire plateau can be seen.
10. Chaukhandi of Hazrat Khalil Ullah is a tomb built in honour of Hazrat Khalil
Ullah. He was the spiritual adviser of Sultan Ahmed Shah, a Mughal emperor. Thi
s two-storeyed structure is an octagonal shaped tomb, which is located 4 km away
from Bidar.
