Travel to London Day

11:15 AM, all travelers arrive for group check-in, Delta counter @ Cincinnati Airport (CVG).
2:17 PM, depart CVG on Delta #1417 to Atlanta (ATL). Arrive @ 3:51 PM.
7:15 PM, depart ATL on Delta #028 to London Heathrow. Arrive @ 8:30 AM on 12 Dec.

Saturday, 12 Dec

Explore London
8:30 AM, go through customs. Get pounds at ATM at baggage claim. Call loved ones!
Take Tube, Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to Leicester Square. Transfer to Northern Line,
one stop to Tottenham Court Road. Walk one minute north to St. Giles Hotel (1
Bedford Ave, London WC1B 3GH). Check into hotel and settle into rooms.
Free time the rest of the day and evening.
HMS Belfast & Churchill War Rooms
Breakfast on your own at hotel.
Religious services if desired. Check with concierge in the hotel lobby.
9:45 AM, depart hotel to the Thames. Take the Northern Line to London Bridge. Fifteen
minute walk from there to the HMS Belfast.
10:45 AM, self-guided tour of the HMS Belfast.
12:45 PM, tour ends. Lunch at pubs and restaurants in the area, then take the Jubilee Line
(same stop as Northern Line at London Bridge) to Westminster.
2:45 PM, arrive at Churchill War Rooms.
3:00 PM, explore the Churchill War Rooms.
5:00 PM, depart from Churchill War Rooms.
Free time the rest of the day and evening. This is the best evening to make reservations at a
nice restaurant.
Imperial War Museum
Breakfast on your own at hotel.
10:00 AM, depart hotel for Imperial War Museum. Take the Northern Line south one stop to
Charing Cross. Transfer to the Bakerloo Line to Lambeth North. Lunch at the
WaterShard Caf and Kitchen at the museum.
3:00 PM, depart Imperial War Museum.
Free time the rest of the day and evening. This is the best evening to attend the theater.
Travel to France Day
7:30 AM, check out of and depart from hotel, taking the Piccadilly Line to Kings Cross St.
Pancras Station. Breakfast either at hotel, the station, or on the train to Paris. Photos at
the Harry Potter site! Dr. Zalar stands post over bags. Be back to bags by 8:45 AM!
10:24 AM, depart from Kings Cross St. Pancras Station on train to Paris via the Chunnel.
1:47 PM, arrive in Paris at Gare du Nord. Call loved ones! MeetnGreet English-speaking
guide, who will lead us to the shuttle busses. Shuttle service to hotel.
c. 3:00 PM, check into the Htel des Deux Avenues, 38 Rue Poncelet, 75017 Paris.
Free time the rest of the evening. Nearest Metro stop: Ternes, only 2 blocks from hotel!

Normandy Beaches
5:30 AM, chartered bus service to the Normandy Coast. Stop at service plaza for breakfast.
9:45 AM, bus drops at Caen Memorial Museum for the History of Peace. Tour museum.
12:00 PM, lunch at the museum with museum staff.
1:30 PM, guided tour of the Longues sur Mer German Gun Battery, the American Cemetery
at Colleville-Sur-Mer, Omaha Beach, and Pointe du Hoc.
6:30 PM, tour ends, chartered bus return to hotel in Paris. Quick dinner at a service area rest
stop.
9:30 PM, arrive at hotel in Paris.
A long day, but free time the rest of the evening.
Explore Paris
6:00 PM, meet in lobby of hotel for final dinner at local restaurant.
Free time all day until final dinner. Free time after dinner, too!
Return to Cincinnati
7:00 AM, take shuttle from hotel to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).
7:40 AM, arrive @ CDG.
10:35 AM, depart CDG on Delta #229. Arrive @ CVG @ 2:18 PM.
