1. Write an informal letter of 250 words on the topic A visit
to an orchard individually.

1. Teacher makes an introduction of todays lesson.
2. Teacher list out the format of informal letter (address, date, addressee,
greetings, sign off and signature).
1. Students share their experience of visiting an orchard and describing the
things that they can do in an orchard.
2. Teacher gives the rubrics of essay.
3. Teacher highlights the keyword of the essay.
4. Teacher gives a list of vocabulary that students can use in their essays.
5. Teacher read aloud the main idea of each paragraph.
6. By referring to the main ideas, students construct at least two sentences of
elaboration for each paragraph.
1. Teacher asks the students to summarise the lesson learned today.
