Course Description & Objectives


This course introduces students to the fundamentals of logistics. An easy-to-follow approach is adopted to help
students comprehend and grasp as much as possible of information. The reference textbook has been chosen carefully
among many other textbooks according to selection criteria such as completeness, relevance, and easiness to follow.
Different topics will be covered beginning with understanding the logistics concepts followed by planning the supply
chain. By the end of the semester, students are expected to gain thorough understanding about the basics of logistics
and use the qualitative tools to analyze and solve certain problems in the field of supply chain and logistics.
