Rhythms of the Deep South
Rhythms of the Deep South is the latest worldwide escorted motorhome tour
being offered to UK holidaymakers by The Camping and Caravanning Club.
The 27-days, 2,500 miles escorted tour explores many of the famous places
throughout the Southern states known for their musical heritage - and offers
holidaymakers the chance to follow in the footsteps of some of the worlds
greatest musicians, including BB King, Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley.
Visiting Nashville and Memphis, it also allows time to soak-up the live music
scene of New Orleans, and to head into Mississippi to visit a typical plantation
estate. Legendary country music venues along the way include the Grand Ole
Opry House, the Country Music Hall of Fame and historic Ryman Auditorium on
this melody of adventure.
It is available from September 15 to October 11, in 2016 (as well as from
September 14 to October 10, in 2017).
Prices start from 3,850 per person, including tour escort, return flights, 24 days
of 4-berth motorhome hire, vehicle insurance, 23 nights of site fees, two nights of
hotel accommodation in Orlando, plus various excursions and entry tickets.
