The incredible dedication Baskin Robbins has towards its customers it truly inspiring. After being
a costumer at the store for many years, I have seen the great enthusiasm, friendliness and
efficiency that each employee exploits while greeting costumers, scooping ice cream and ringing
up purchases. Having recently been informed about the job opening at Baskin Robbins through a
family member, I hope to demonstrate to you my suitability for this employee position and
opportunity.

My experience and knowledge regarding the management of such company has been well
exemplified through the leadership positions that I hold. I have tutored, babysat and have been
selected to become a Branksome Hall Ambassador, enhancing my leadership, responsibility and
reliability skills. Besides enhancing these skills, the extensive amounts of clubs I am part of, has
given me the opportunity to explore what it means to really be dedicated and organized. Clubs
such as sustainability council and mental health club, have given me a deeper understanding of
what it means to make a difference and care for others and the environment. My competitive
dance and gymnastics experience has taught me how to exploit and use my enthusiasm in an
effective and meaningful manner. Both these activities have guided me into becoming the
organized student I am. The international experience I take on each summer in Italy gaged an
invaluable insight into the Italian culture and society. My experiences in this nation, learning
about the people and daily experiences, garnered an acumen regarding how I communicate with
others as I learned how to interact on a whole other level. I am sure I will incorporate this
adaptability and friendliness into the company.

As an IB student, my strong academic standing is not only indicative of my academic

accomplishments, but also of the global-mindedness as we focus our learning based on off IB
learner profile. The IB learner profile consists of 10 traits which not only enrich my learning, but
also enrich how I convey myself to others. The traits I specifically follow are communicator,
open-minded and knowledgeable, which I am positive I will incorporate into the company as an

employee. My Duke of Edinburgh and community service exploit my dedication and determination towards
service, action and creativity. Not only do I exercise these skills, but I also contribute them on a day to day basis
which will bring commitment to the company.

As evidenced by my practical skills, experience and perceptive understanding of the nature of Baskin Robbins, I
am apt for this opportunity. After years of being a Baskin Robbins customer, I have developed a particular
interest in becoming an employee after seeing how enthusiastic and friendly each employee is. I look forward to
