I worked as a shop assistant on the shop floor and the warehouse.
Greeting customers, sorting clothes on racks and also a lot of customer
service was needed as I helped customers with availability of products, in
the changing room area, provided recommendations and I also unpacked
stock and organised it ready for display.

also the stock rooms. My top priority was customer service as I was
constantly interacting with customers; I also provide recommendations to
help sales increase. I unpacked stock and organised it ready for display

I worked as a customer service agent for Virgin Credit Cards which meant I
had to be able to interact with emotional customers over the phone, while
operating a system called TS2. This was a fast working environment with
answers to customers questions needed to found instantly. While I was at
TSYS I also worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland. I had to perform the
same tasks while operating a different system. I had to be a fast learner to
succeed in this workplace.

Skills
Teamwork
A variety of units during my university experience were group
assignments which meant I had to create a group with strangers and work
as a team to complete the assignment to a high standard. We delegated
each other tasks to complete which meant my team members relied on
me to perform my tasks so that the assignments can be completed. This
shows that in different circumstances I can still work with other people
and still succeed. I regularly play for a football team where I attend
training twice a week and a match once a week; this shows my good
teamwork skills because within a football team you have to work as a
team to be able to beat your opponent. This shows that I am a very
dedicated at what I do.
ICT Skills
I am able to use a wide variety of computer programmes, such as
Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Weebly. I also can use a
variety of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.
Communication
During school I and five friends organised an event to raise money for
charity and this only happened because we all communicated with each
other which led to a successful event and we raised a lot of money. At
University myself and three others acted as a consultancy firm and helped
to market a restaurant in Portsmouth that was struggling; this involved
having meetings with the managers and also exchanging emails to
communicate new ideas.
Organisation
I am organised because I am able to attend my football teams training
and matches every week while also completing my university work on a
regular basis. Furthermore by being employed in the retail sector I had to
ensure I arrived to work on time so that the shop can be run smoothly.
This shows I am able to manage my time efficiently.
Hobbies and Interests
I play for a football team which helps me keep fit and healthy and also
introduces me to new people and opportunities. I also enjoy videography
and photography, going out with friends, going to the cinema, going
shopping and also going out to meet new people.
