What is the application
and what does it do?
The FAFSA application is free and
needs to be filled out by anyone
who needs or wants financial aid
money for college. This
application will determine the
amount of money that your
family will be expected to pay
towards your college tuition.
The FAFSA information will be
used to determine if a candidate
qualifies for any federal grants
and what loan amounts are
available to the student and their
family.

Scholarship
Opportunities
Look on www.collegeboard.com
to find a list of possible
scholarships to apply to. Also
stop into the guidance office to
review local scholarship
opportunities. Make time to look
into scholarships; there are many
that go un-awarded because
students dont apply.
