RELATIONSHIP WITH BREAKFAST HABITS LEARNING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Background: More than a third (36.1%) children classified as short as Indonesia enters school age.
Children with less or poor nutritional status would have lower intelligence levels, so as not to compete.
One way of assessing the quality of a child is to look at academic achievement in school. Christian
Elementary School data Rear Soya is known that the value of learning achievement indicates that most
students have not reached the thoroughness of learning, the students managed to learn when it had
reached an average value of more than 70.
Objectives: To analyze the relationship with the breakfast habits of student achievement Christian
Elementary School District Sirimau A1 Rear Soya Ambon.
Methods: This study is an analytical type of survey research, it mean that is conducted on the whole
object or the populations studied. Data is collected with Cross Sectional approaches, namely data
collection, is the habit of breakfast and learning achievement simultaneously.
Results: A good breakfast habits commonly found in female students is 85.7% and 80% in male
students. Good student achievements are more common in girls and 74.3% of male students as much as
47.5%. Chi square test fisher exact value of 0.013.
Conclusion: Eating habits and good learning achievements are more common in girls. This study shows
an association between eating habits by learning achievement
