Holy Spirit of Peace, please help us to achieve the words of our Lord. Restore at this
table our split minds, our divided homeland, our faith distorted by our prejudices and
obstinacies. Our Lord Jesus Christ, on the night when he was betrayed, took the
bread, gave thanks and said: This is my body, given for you, do this in memory of
me. After the meal he held the cup in the same way and said This cup is the new
covenant in my blood, remember me whenever you drink from it.
We thank you, Lord. Make us one in your body and unify us, we who are split; with
your blood, fill up the cracks and lead us toward peace and reunification.

This is the life of a new heaven and a new earth that will heal this land.

into four pieces. This broken loaf of bread is for our compatriots in North Korea.
We want to share Gods love together with our North Korean brothers and sisters at
one table
(raising the second part) This broken loaf is for all poor people, who suffer under
social polarization.
We want to share Gods love together with our poor brothers and sisters at one table
(raising the third part) This broken loaf is for the groaning natural ecosystem.
We want to share our Lord's love in the Creation of God.

us.
