1:45-2:15 Rotation 3 Bush - Holiday reading
2:15-2:45 Rotation 4 McVey - Snowflake science
2:45-3:15 Rotation 5 Vanderhyde - Snowflake math
Karla will assist in whichever room we need help
Parents will be given the option of: rotating with their child or running a station

Determined starting point for different bees...4th will start on the word bat, 5th will start on the word navy

Calvin & Riley (4th grade), Rubi & Yasmin (5th grade) All 4 are two or more years below grade level.

A few other notes:
Judges...we are going to ask Jake Bergsma & Grace Sage to see if they want to come back & judge (they were the top 2). I will also
email Jerry and see if he will judge too.
Mikie will email the teachers the lists and we will make our own copies.
We will inform parents AT conferences & hand out lists at that time.

Spelling City
We are working on downloading all the lists on to Spelling City
Air Beads Sale
There will be an air bead presentation in mid-November. 5th grade ALC will be creating a slideshow to share
their Camp Henry experience with the 4th graders the day before the air beads presentation. 4th and 5th grade
ALC will create a few posters to hang in our hallway to encourage air bead sales.
Conference Form
A conference form was shared to help us communicate with our parents during conferences.

Day 1 - highlight back, cut sort, and do a closed sort
Day 2 - written sort (teacher calls word, they decide where it goes, then teacher shows the word & they write it.
Day 3 - timed sort (time them to see how fast they can sort)
Day 4 (or last day) - glue sorts into book, then assess
Possible homework idea
Discussion of Spelling City...the lists are ALREADY IN SPELLING CITY!!!!!
