The method we used is eclectic method. It is mostly based on content based theory. It
also includes grammar translation and cooperative learning. This lesson is learner
centered, if necessary there will be use of native language of students.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and
Require Learner Participation)]
The lesson begins with warm up talking. After the small talk, Prezi will be used to show
the famous cities in USA and famous capitals. The presentation includes present simple
tense and simple past tense as a reinforcement. Additionally, there is a 'bubble.us'
concept map to show the given information as a revision.

Summary
There will be a concept map as an introduction to the main topic. In that concept map all
the cities are listed. There is a presentation that includes information about the famous
and capital cities. After the presentation there will be a fill-in-the-blanks activity. Lastly,
there will be a group discussion about which cities the students like the most. Lesson will
be finished to be continued next week.

The teacher takes notes during the lesson and there will be an error correction session if
necessary.

Explanation
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Firstly, teacher shows a world map to the students and asks them if there is any country
that they want to visit. Then s/he talks about his/her own trips to abroad if there is any.
When students are warmed up, the teacher starts the lesson by showing concept map
including the names of the cities that they will cover. After that, there will be a Prezi
presentation which is more detailed. When the presentation is over, the students will be
expected to do a fill-in-the-blanks activity. Lastly, they will have a group discussion about
which city they like most.

include directions and prepositions. By looking at the infographic, students will have a
speaking session and they will work in pairs to describe the infographic to each other.
After that, they will talk about the objects in the classroom by using prepositions.
