Comparison
The Indian school and our school are really alike. We all agreed on that
multicultural schooling is helpful and you learn a lot from it.
Our research results
Our results are that some people
who came from a one religion
school are having slightly different
opinions than people from a
multicultural school. Also people
with no religion have different
opinions on multicultural schooling
than people with a religion. Some
people who came from one religion
school, were more judging to other
cultures/religions then the ones
with no religion, who went to a
multicultural school.
Not all of
them of course, but still quite
some.

Similarities
Just like us, the Indian students find multicultural school really helpful,
and they also got different kind of cultures at their school. Most of the
schools are multicultural, just like most of our schools are. They also are
open-minded to new religions and cultures and fully accept them, just
like we do.
Differences
Our majority of the country or at our school doesnt have a religion, and
if so, the Christian religion would be the majority. In India about 80% of
the population believes in Hinduism, so thats quite a difference.

Reflection.
Research and group work. What went well/what would you do
differently?
We would have done the planning differently, the group work was good
enough but the planning was quite poor. Starting too late etc. but we
definitely learned from it.
What did you learn about the topic?
We have learned that the majority of people are really positive about
multicultural schools. You learn from it, and it decreases stereotyping. We
personally really like all the different kind of cultures and how interesting
those are. What each culture has similar and also of course the
differences.
