Why was this Font chosen?

A Namrah Siddique Film

This font was kept consistent

throughout the documentary, as this
would provide our documentary with
the professional appearance. We
also felt that this would be a good
idea as our target audience is aimed
at older generations and so it should
be clear for them to be able to read
and understand.

@First

We had decided to use this font for

the introduction of our production as
it was clear and also supported the
purpose of the text, which was to be
concise.

We used this font as part of the title

since we felt that it was
unnecessary for us to change the
font of @First since it held no clear
significance that the other fonts
used in the title had. Moreover, it
allowed us to maintain a mature and
professional impression, which was
imperative since we didnt want to
lose interest from our older
audiences.

Love

We used this font for Love as we

wanted it to stand out to the
audience to provide them with an
obvious sense of distinction. We felt
that this was important to do as it
helped to connote the idea of
romance, passion and intimacy
within the documentary.
Furthermore we felt that although
the font is obscure in comparison to
other fonts used in the title, however
worked well as it is lucid
uncomplicated to read. Lastly, we
felt that this was an attractive font to
use as the italic and unprofessional
look

Click

We used this font for the word Click

as it can be identified as being
associated with computer
technology due to its spaced and
boxed letters. Furthermore, having
the mouse animation reinforced this
to ensure that the purpose behind
the font was obvious evident for the
audience.

Feared vs. Embraced

We had used a similar font to one

we had previously used, as this
would provide some consistency.
Another reason as to why we chose
this font was due to the fact that this
font is clear and bold and therefore
stands out to the audience when it is
mentioned in the voice over.
Embraced vs. Feared holds value
as it emphasizes the argument that
our documentary explores.

Names and Job titles

The red colour used to highlight the

word embraced as the colour red is
used to connote love and romance
within our documentary.
This font was used for the primary
purpose that it compliments the
shape of the credits that appear to
introduce the character(s) on the
screen. Also we had decided that
we would use a different front for
credits and titles to create
differentiation between the two for
the sole purpose of providing a
better understanding for the
audiences.
