Features of the Track (Turn, wobble, and picture)

The pictures are
taken from the
orange camera
circled below.

Point of view of the

turn before GyroBall.

Point of view of the turn with

Gyro Ball, going extremely
As the Gyro-Ball goes
fast. We have tested this
through the diving turn,
hundreds of times and
GPE from the Gyroit has never failed.
Balls starting point is
transferred to KE of the
ball, and some of that KE
is transferred to the
movement of the track to
let the guests experience
more thrill. GPE is also
converted to thermal
energy, but even at the
end, this should not be
enough to make the
guests uncomfortable.

Features of the Track (Corkscrew and hill 1)

As the ball loses GPE
and gains KE by going
down, it continues to lose
SE and TE from the
GPE-KE conversion. The
ball gains KE and loses
GPE with the downwards
corkscrew and doesn't
gain GPE. The hill
makes the Gyro-Ball lose
KE and gain GPE at first,
but it drops after rising
and gains KE while
losing GPE again.

After the turn, the

Gyro-Ball
immediately does
a downward
corkscrew, then a
hill right after the
corkscrew before
it goes down to
the next section.

Features of the Track (Hill 2 and loop)

The Gyro-Ball loses KE and
gains GPE while climbing the
second hill. The Gyro-Ball
then continues to lose KE
and gain GPE as it is going
up the first half of the loop.
During the second half, it
hugs the track because of
positive g-forces. As the ball
comes down the second half
of the loop, it gains KE and
loses GPE very quickly while
it is approaching the top
speed that it reaches on the
track because of the steep
angle of the loop ant the
following downhill.

As it comes off of the

first hill, it dips down
and comes back up
the second hill and
then continues by
going into a loop and
going to the next
section.

Features of the Track (Turn and hill 3)

As the Gyro-Ball comes down
the hill at top speed, it comes
into the second curve. The
GPE stays about the same
while the KE carries the ball
around the turn. More SE and
TE are created because the
ball wants to continue moving
forward instead of turning,
which creates friction, which, in
this case, produces more
sound and as always, more TE.
As it goes up the hill, it loses
KE and gains GPE, which
converts back into KE as it
goes down the hill, which will
assist it in the next section.

As the Gyro-Ball
comes down from the
loop, it makes a sharp
turn and goes up a hill
before going to the
next section.

Features of the Track (Hill 4, splash, and picture of splash)

As the Gyro-Ball
comes down from the
last hill, it goes back
up another hill and into
the Splash Zone,
which safely slows the
car down while still
giving thrill. (Not a part
of the actual track)

This is the picture of

the waterproof GyroBall going into the
Splash Zone. This
picture is taken at the
right moment so all of
the emotions of guests
entering the water will
still be present. The
water will also have
jets and or magnets in
it to turn the ball the
right way so that
passengers can get
out easily after the ball
exits the water. We
could not replicate this
on a small scale.

/watch?v=2UejbpXKsaA
As the Gyro Ball is going down the third hill, as we
mentioned in the last slide, the Gyro-Ball gains
enough KE to make it over the last hill and into the
Splash Zone. Throughout the track, the Gyro-Ball
has gained Thermal Energy, and another function
of the Splash Zone is to cool of the Gyro-Ball by
pulling the Thermal Energy into the cool water so
that it does not stay hot all day and cause
permanent damage to your track or Gyro-Ball.

Energy Transformations Throughout the Coaster

The energy in the gyro ball when the coaster first begins all GPE. As it goes up
the second hill and the loop the KE and GPE are about the same with a little bit of
TE and SE. As it approaches the end of the track the energy is mostly KE and a
little bit of GPE and some thermal and sound.

Law of Conservation of Energy

The total energy remains the same throughout the entire ride even though the
different energies change. This is because of the law of conservation of energy.
This law state that energy is neither created nor destroyed. so taking this into
consideration, energy throughout the ride isnt destroyed so the energy is just
converted.

corkscrew.

Positive acceleration
when going back
down the hill.

Negative acceleration
when going up the hill.

Positive acceleration
when going down the
loop and down the hill.

Negative
acceleration
when gyro-ball
goes up and
through the first
half of the loop.

Positive acceleration when gyro-ball

goes down hill, loses acceleration
when goes around the turn and up hill,
and gains acceleration when goes
down hill.

Gyro-ball has negative acceleration as

it goes up final hill.

And has negative acceleration as it hits the water in

the tube.

Roller Coaster Video

Now that youve seen our presentation of the Gyro-Plunge, we will let you watch
our video again, and seeing it again after the presentation will help you
understand more about our design.

Sales Pitch
As you can see, our track proposal is very innovative and creative, with more than
just amazing and innovative excitements that go above satisfying the guests. This
will introduce your new Gyro-Ball car with a big hit that all of the guests will love.
You should add this track to your parks because it is full of thrills and drops while
being extremely safe. The guests will love this attraction because they get
exhilarated and receive two different photos of their reactions to take home with
them so that they can remember their amazing experience at Six-Flags while
being reminded to come back. I hope you can see why you should choose our
track. Thank you for your time.
