[Festivals in 2016 Round-Up]

Angle: The introduction will highlight the shift from Filipinos celebrating only religious
or ethnic festivals in their respective regions to developing a taste for the music and rave
culture. It will then segue into the festival tips and then the roundup.
The roundup will be similar to other lists made before in terms of layout (Archipelago of
Eats, Sem Break Road Trip Destinations) in the sense that it is a mini-manual/guide for
the reader to be able to plan and purchase his or her tickets accordingly. Information will
be sourced from online research and Philippine event sites. Listings will be brief, concise
and straight to the point. Additional tips will be added at the end of the article since they
apply to almost all the festivals (ie., Scout Ateneo Trade for last minute tickets/cheaper
tickets).
Two-sentence thesis statement: With loads of events happening all over the
country, itd be near impossible to attend everything with our college student budgets.
