Why you need to understand statistical information from Government like the Home Office is
imperative in any country?

I am going to pick America for this K Study and show the thinking that is needed.

Black people have not designed the system so that they will be incarcerated. Don’t be stupid now.

So we can take national or local or a particular area like county and state stats. To get a good
understanding of where you are at all areas should be looked at.

The whole point of why you should approach recruitment like this is so that you don’t help and
enhance a bad system and also don’t enhance any type of discrimination.

One point going back to companies you are not governed by Civil Law you are governed by
Employment Law. Always think of this principal at all times.

So let us make some figures up to make a logical point.

Let’s say in Chicago where unemployment is rife in the black community this is because of let’s say
40% of black males have a criminal record. I have picked Chicago randomly and the figures are to
show the thinking needed.

What should happen is that the recruiter knows the Home Office figures and stats for that
demography. So you will know before recruiting that 40% of your applicants will have a criminal
record. Great we know this and we can move on. That’s all you need to know. Do we understand the
thinking behind the stats?

So by knowing stats like this we are not going to further unemployment in black males in Chicago.
We are going to grace the information and be pro-active. One can’t just sit there and say well they
all have a Criminal Record. It is up to you to lead and be a leader and reduce that number over a
period of time. Again what is it that you’re trying to prove? Who do you believe you are helping?
What is the bigger picture here?

By understanding the statistical information people then understand the problems that are faced
with applicants applying and there frustrations.
