Teachback Structure for Mrs Murphy: Beginning Lesson Plan

1. Dress Appropriately & Professionally

a. Have Bellwork on the board (it needs to tie into your lesson plan, and be used in
your lesson
b. Should only take 5 mins to complete the bellwork and discuss

Student Expert Strategy- This strategy encourages active learning and reaches 90%
learning retention in Adult Learning Theory Pyramid. Give the participant information and let
them read, and learn what they will then present to the class. They can also do research
outside of the classroom, training and prepare to teach what they have learned. Participants
enjoy hearing from each other, and the experience stimulates positive interaction.
