Correction Factor

The insulation resistance measurement should be corrected to a reference temperature of 20 degrees C.


the following formula should be used for the correction and the table of correction factors may be used.

F IRT20 = F IRT/K
Where
F IRT20 is the insulation resistance corrected to 20 degrees C
F IRT is the insulation resistance measured at T
T is the test temperature, degrees C
K is the correction factor
