Blind musician and vagabond Sakra Buraja brings songs stolen on his travels. This savage plays with only one
hand, while he uses the other to capture the most talented musicians in places he visits, whom he enslaves!
When you see him, you will want to dislike this scoundrel. But as soon he starts to play, you'll be immediately
transported: the music is irresistible and you're a part of it. Before you notice, you are already on the road
with this mixture of (im)perfect sounds, energy, peculiar humor and love, embarking on this trip, dancing,
trying to hitch a car!

SAKRA BURAJA
Sakra Buraja is an international project set up to explore and extend the musical tradition of Central and Eastern
Europe through fusion with jazz and other wold music tendencies, using composition, savage energy and
improvisation. Founded by Vladimr Chb, a film composer from Prague, it was intended from the very beginning
as an open musical project, with space for all kinds of musical encounters and guest appearances. The project
has already brought together musicians coming from a wide range of background that stretches from
experienced interprets of classical music, sambistas, street musicians, jazz improvisers and total musical
analphabets to a straw-pipe blower in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.
Following an extensive world tour, Sakra Buraja will present its latest album 'Midnight Recordings' (published by
the New York label Hero Water Records) in a series of show around Europe.
