UZ INTRODUCES 2 INTAKES OF 1ST

YEAR STUDENTS
The University of Zimbabwe is happy to inform prospective first year
students and the general public that the institution will have two (2)
intakes of first year students in 2016. The first intake starts lectures
on 22 February 2016 while the second intake commences studies on 22
August 2016.

Aspiring students must therefore apply for admission to the University

immediately indicating whether they want to be considered for the
February or August intake.

The University further wishes to advise returning students that

following the February 2016 first year student admission process, the
2nd semester of the 2015/2016 academic year will now commence on 22
February 2016. The registration exercise planned for Monday 25 th to
Friday 29 January 2016 however remains unchanged.
