Lesson Outline
Students go through the
structure of the course
and as a class we
develop a Code of
Cooperation.
We then explore the
concept of Psychology
what is it and why do we
study it?
Students explore the
various fields of
Psychology and then
work in groups to create
posters about a
particular field.
Students learn what the
scientific method is and
the purpose of
conducting experiments.
We explore the most
famous Psychological
experiments in history
and begin to go over
psychological
terminology and ethics
Conduct an experiment
that looks at the effect
that caffeine has on
memory in order to give
a practical application of
the elements of a
research design.
