ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The end of the high voltage lead should be securely taped and kept away Irom the chassis. Do not remove the horizontal oscillator tube to disable the
high voltage.
Connect a short between pins 1 and 12 of the picture tube socket to complete the filament string.
The toner chasslVil insulated from the main chassis and is connected to the common negative line n the receiver. The metal shield partitions between
the tuner switch wafers is a convenient point of connection for the instrument ground leads.
Use an iso ation transformer to protect the test equipment.
Connect the negative lead of a 4.5 volt battery to the junction of HI and R76, positive to B-, and adjust the contrast control to read -2.7 volts on a VTVM

HIGH CHANNEL TRAP ADJUSTMENT
The high channel trap, (A25), may be used to elim nate any one of the following high channel interferences on the corresponding low channel:
Channel 8 interference on channel 4.
Channel 11 interference on channel 5.
Channel 13 interference on channel 6.
The trap has been pre-set at the factory to reject channel 11 interference on channel 5, however if this combination is encountered A25 may require
slight adjustment.
If no interference is encountered or if rone of the above combinations exist in the area A25 will not require adjustment.
