The present study focuses on the analysis of finite difference stems joint design
of multilateral wells by computer simulation and must answer a series of
questions that relate to the establishment of the optimum design parameters for
multilateral wells TAML-4. The paper examines the impact of angle ofwhipstock
that is used to build a sidetrack, and the wall thickness of the casing of sidetrack
on the characteristics of the stress strain state of the junction of the main and
lateral bores of multilateral wells.
