LESSON PLAN HPE1202


LESSON ORGANISATION (based on Australian Curriculum: Health & Physical Education)
Intention: Practice shooting skills in order to get a goal using the correct technique to achieve a
perfect shot.
Pre-lesson organisation: Ensure equipment is available, netball courts are free with goal rings.
Equipment:
2 Netball courts
1 ball per pair (i.e. 20 students = 10 netballs)
1 set of bibs per 12 students (if there are 24 students, 2 sets are needed)

Beginning class organization: Students to sit down quietly in front of teacher.
Introduce Lesson Objectives:
Ask students;

shooting?
- What players can shoot a

- To get closer to the ring,
what do some shooters do?

Golden Child

- Runners run around the first
netball third (if they hear
stop, they stop running and
next player runs)
- Try to get as many player

the shooters get a goal
Bridging organization: Students to line up on goal line to cool down
- Allocate a responsible
