Third Grade Education - Our Life with Jesus

Overall Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be assessed a final time. Each of the
goals and objectives tests will be reviewed and compared to the posttest. This analysis will
severe two purposes. The first purpose will determine if a promotion will be granted to the next
grade level. In addition, the results will be provided to the next courses facilitators as a guide
for the upcoming pretest. The second purpose serves as a means for the overall implementation
of this course. It will determine what needs to be changed or tweaked if necessary and then
implementing such changes.
The posttest will give a great view for both facilitators and learners to distinguish
between what has been mastered and what has not. Each goal has many parts; to advance or be
considered mastered in a particular goal, a 85 percent or above must be attained in each portion
using the multiple assessment strategies.
Evaluation Instruments
The course will be evaluated on several levels. The course will be evaluated by the
facilitator or instructor; they are the first line of contact with the material. Their evaluation prior
to and after the course will include such rating and questions as the following:

Rate Instructor Readiness

Rate Materials

Rate Additional Resources

Testing Knowledge (self and learner)

Additional Feedback

INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN

The student will have an evaluating time after the course is complete. Their evaluations
will cover the following:

Their pre/post testing readiness

Course Material

Comparison of knowledge before and after

Additional Feedback

Evaluation Overview
The information obtained from each evaluation will determine several components.

Rate Instructor Readiness rating their own readiness will help determine if
more prep time is needed. It will also determine how far in advance facilitator
will be provided the information and how much prep time will be required.

Rate Materials The materials used in this course are designed as ageappropriate as possible. If some materials as deemed too advance, this will allow
the facilitator and administrator the opportunity to determined adjusting which
materials should be used, removed, or need more or less of.

Rate Additional Resources Additional resources are used as tool to help assist
the material and make it more life relatable for each leaner. The evaluation of this
is what will determine if these materials are necessary and helpful.

Testing Knowledge (self and learner) Evaluating the knowledge of the instructor
will allow the instructor to determine if they should brush up on material. The
learners knowledge from an instructors perspective will give them insight to
what they may or may not need to approach differently.

INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN

Additional Feedback This feedback is any feedback the leaner and instructor
wants to provide. It will be used to determine what additional changes if
necessary should be made. It will determine whether or not interest in the course
was maintained or how it could be captured and retained.
