Subject Idea

I want to create a music video for Susie Blue- Trust

Me. I would like to create a simple choreographed
dance/ movement between two female characters
with one of them being Susie Blue herself.

Genre

The genre I am aiming for is the music video/ drama

genre. The two different types of genre will be
collaborated with dance and movement to show how
the two characters evolve in their relationship
throughout the song.

Target Audience

My target audience is young people, but my main

target audience is music lovers and fans of Susie
Blues music- people who appreciate young, local
talent.

Intended Aim

My intended aim is to create a music video that

connects with the audience and suits the story and
concept of the song and lyrics perfectly.

Feasibility

There is an easy access to the studio (Northwest

Regional College) from 9-4 with breaks in betweenthis gives time to get perfect shots and breaks for
food for actors and crew. Planning before the film will
be put in place to run over choreography of the two
female actresses.

Deadlines

The deadline for the completed film is the 14th May

2015. i plan to finish the work a week before the
deadline so that this gives me enough time to run
back over the video and get feedback from my class
and the public.

I will get in contact with the actors and crew to find a

suitable date for which they are free.

Susie Blue (Susan Donaghy) is free on a Friday from

9-4

Megan Dorthey- is free after Thursdays as she is a

student

Acquiring Properties

The entail idea was to have the music video in a field

in Forglen; but due to unexpected weather the idea
was changed to a studio (Northwest Regional
College) with controlled conditions, as this is a lot
more simple idea and easier to control lighting,
equipment and crew.

Studio Use

Use of the studio would be from 9-4 on a Friday at

the Northwest Regional College. This means we have
access to lighting, audio, camera, lenses, set design
and computers.

Crewing

For this music video i have decided to ask for extra

help from fellow students in my class as we work well
together. I asked Shane Coll and Ryan Murray to help
me out with sound control for the music track; but to
also help set up the camera, lighting and set. I have
set up meetings for the crew to go through run
through the music track and what I envision for the
music video.

Set Design

For the set design i have decided to go for a simple

plain black background to the two characters stand
out and to be the main focus of the video.

Products, logos and Brand names

For the music video i wont have any

products or logos presented. The only brand
name that will be used is Susie Blue and i
have cleared the use of this brand name with
the artist herself- Susan Donaghy.

Clips, stock footage, tapes & Images

For clips, stock footage and tapes/ images,

they will be cleared and i have permission to
use them outside of my course. If i wish to
bring them further i will have to investigate
clearances of copyright and get permission
from the actresses .

Font, texts & Designs

For the font and the text that i am using in

my film, i will have access to them fro m final
cut pro 10.1- i have cleared permission to use
these fonts as they come with the software
that i am using to edit on

Famous works & people

For my music video i will be making no

references to any famous people or famous
work such as art or other famous peoples
music. I got permission from Susan Donaghy
to use her track for the music video.

Script clearances

If i was to take this ,music video further i will

have to get copyright and clearances .

Privacy

Actors- for the people involved with the film i have

made sure that they are in a safe location so that
they are not exposed and made feel uncomfortable.
In the studio (Northwest Regional College) i have
made sure that the comfort needs of the actresses
and crew are met.

Outside of the studio and when filming and editing is

done i will make sure that the privacy of the
actresses is respected and if they are uncomfortable
with anything involved i will change my music video
in ways so that their privacy needs are met.
