"Jesus." BBC News. BBC. Web. 2 Nov. 2015.

Jesus made a major impact on so many different people. He grabbed the attention of
people a variety of groups that couldnt be any more different. They followed him for many
different reasons. Some reasons were because of his healing miracles, his ability to teach, and the
way he lived; in perfect righteousness with no sin. The Gospels speak regularly of huge crowds
following Jesus. Perhaps they gathered because of his reputation as a healer. Perhaps they
gathered because of his ability as a teacher. Whatever the cause, it seems likely that the
authorities' fear of the crowd was a major factor leading to Jesus' crucifixion. After all, the reason
that the leaders in that time crucified Jesus was because he was a threat to them in a sense that
the people starting to think of him as the leader. People that originally agreed with the
government converted and joined Jesus. They rioted against the government and their laws. In a
world where there was no democracy, mobs represented a far greater threat to the Romans' rule
than anything else. Yet in spite of Jesus' popularity during his lifetime, the early Christian
movement after Jesus' death was only a small group with a tiny power base in Jerusalem, a
handful of Jesus' closest followers who stayed loyal to Jesus' legacy because they were
convinced that Jesus was the Messiah, that he had died for everyone's sins, and that he was raised
from the dead. It was a movement that received its greatest boost when the most unlikely figure
joined it, the Apostle Paul. I feel that based on this, I have the right to say that Jesus had a major
impact on the people. One of the best examples is the Apostle Paul originally Saul. Saul used to
stone followers of Jesus just because they were followers of Jesus. He was completely AntiChristian. Despite this, God (Jesus is believed by Christians to be God in the flesh) changed his
name from Saul to Paul and turned his life around. Paul became one of the most committed
followers of Jesus.

Mason. Eddie. Personal Interview. 14 Oct. 2015.

Pastor Eddie Mason tells me that all through his studies, he has come to one conclusion.
The conclusion is that God is amazing. Pastor Eddie Mason says that all throughout Gods word,
his goodness is shown and you cant help but think about it. He also says that Jesus was God in
the flesh. He was God on Earth. Jesus was put on earth to make everything right and to bring
people to the attention of the one true God. Pastor Eddie Mason says that God gives people a
choice. We can either follow him and try to live the way that Jesus lived when on Earth, or we
can live like animals blinded by the Devil and burn in the lake of fire. Pastor ended that section
of the interview by quoting Deuteronomy 30:19 that states, This day I call the heavens and the
earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.
Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Overview of Jesus Ministry. Bible Gateway. Bible Gateway. Web. 4 Dec. 2015.

Jesus teaching evokes both wonder and rejection. Although Jesus attracted large crowds,
He was also repudiated at times. People hated Jesus because he was different. The leaders and
religious leaders hated Jesus the most. They saw him breaking laws and not following the rules
of Judaism. They also saw him turning others to this rebellion. In the midst of people's rejection,
there is also cosmic struggle as Jesus encounters hostile spiritual forces. Jesus came upon many
demons. He even had an encounter with the Devil himself in Matthew 4 where the Devil
attempted to make Jesus sin. Jesus met demon possessed people that were very irritable and
hateful towards Jesus. Jesus cast out demons and told the Devil to leave. Jesus reveals his
mission to us in Luke 4:43 where he said, I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of
God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent. Jesus tells us that he was sent to
Earth to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God. The good news is the Gospel; Gods
word.

The first four books of the New Testament are known as the Gospels. These books tell us about
the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They are named for their
authors: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each Gospel is about the same character and the same
general narrative, and so they all share several elements. However, the Gospels are written by
different individuals for different audiences with different purposes. Each Gospel shares the
same story, but from a different perspective and for a different audience. In short, the Gospels tell
about the life of Jesus, but from the viewpoint of four different followers of Jesus. A good
example of what I mean here is the crucifixion. Luke and Matthew both tell the same story of the
crucifixion, but they tell it in different ways. If you put yourself I Lukes place on the day of the
crucifixion and Matthews on the day of the crucifixion, based on the writing in the Bible, you
would experience different things.

Jesus had several different ways of teaching. All of his different strategies were extremely
effective and because different people learn in different ways, he could not have effectively
taught everyone. Jesus had seven different and effective strategies in spreading the word of
God. These strategies consisted of the following: His use of adaptability, his use of rhetoric,
his use of repetition, his use of illustrations, his use of poetry, and his use of parables. Not
everyone learns the same way. Some are visual learners while others are auditory. Jesus knew
that people learn and respond in different ways. He knew how to quickly adapt to the ways
that people learn. He could even adapt to the ways that very tricky and aggressive people
learn. Every strategy was effective and lead to changing the hearts of the people

Jesus performed many amazing miracles. These miracles played a major role in the
ministry that he had on Earth. Another thing that played a major role was how he accepted all
people. A very good example of this is the story of Jesus asking the Samaritan woman to get him
water from the well. The Samaritans werent the most liked people at that time, but Jesus broke
the wall of stereotypes down by talking to her. The woman was extremely surprised. Jesus ate
with sinners and asked sinners to follow him. He accepted all people. He even accepted
fishermen. He filled up Peters fishing nets with boats full of fish after a day of catching
nothing!!! Jesus asked Peter to follow him. Peter, just a fisherman, became Jesus right hand
man. Jesus accepted anyone who would get up and follow him.
