My Dear People
Happy New Year! The year is a month old, but I
wasnt in Lucknow. For the very first time since
coming here in 1974, I wasnt leading a service in
Lucknow on Jan 1st. It felt strange.

However, Im sure that all of you were blessed by

those that the Lord appointed to serve you. In the
words of our Lord, all that is needed is to pray to
the Lord of the harvest to send new/more more
labourers (Luke 10:2).

After Roshini returned from attending family

events, we travelled to Jaisalmer to be at Nicole
Klakulaks wedding.

The Klakulaks, Michelle, Matt, Nicole and Josiah

were founding members of our church. Michelles
mother Dianne designated Roshini and me Indian
grand-parents to Nicole and Josiah, a role weve
enjoyed thoroughly.
The wedding took place among the sand dunes in
the Thar Desert. Wed been up to the hills, and
wed been down to seacoasts, but wed never been
to a desert. It was a memorable experience to be
at Nicoles wedding.
After the wedding, we went to the Filadelfia Bible
College in Udaipur. While I was teaching formal
classes in apologetics and pastoral ministry, Roshini
was interacting non-formally with girls about
personal care, nutrition and home management
skills, and going out for ministry among women with
the pastors wife. Were grateful that we had these
opportunities of ministry. Good to be back now.

Armaan was down with fever.

Bunny Philip was unwell.
Vijay Verma recovered from typhoid.
Devanshi Bhatnagar got over a twisted ankle. Just
recently she had a narrow escape when her scooter was
bumped by a car and she escaped unhurt in spite of losing
her balance.
Poonam Modwell is battling knee pain.
Martha Khan has high B.P.
Jerusha Antin was suffering from a sore throat.
Kanta Singh was down with fever.
Shreen Revis and Malini were down with viral fever.
Shalini visited them with her daughters Shubumi and
Esha, who fell ill during their time in Lucknow.
Vijay and Kanta Singh have shifted to their new home.
Jemima Lal and Arpit Prakash have got Class X board
exams coming up.
Nivedita Eisenberg, Srishti Lugun and Aishwarya
Thappa have to do Class XII board exams and choose
what they will pursue at university level.
Jerusha Antin and Sandy Singh have university exams.
