Steps to find the square root

1. If a Number is given to find the square root, consider its last digit, note the
respective root number according to the above Notes.
2. Then cancel the last two digits.

3. Check the remaining digits and consider the nearby lower square root.

Example 1 :-

Square root of 225 is _____

1) Consider the last digit , it is 5 ,then check the respective root number from
the above notes i.e. 5..therefore unit digit is 5
2) Cancel the last two digits .Then remaining is 2(25)
3) Check the nearest lower square root for 2 that is 1..therefore unit digit is 1.

Answer is 15

Example 2 :-

Square root of 361 is ____

Last digit is 1 ..respective square root number is ( either 1 or 9 )

Cancel th last two digits. Remaining is 3 (61).
Nearest lower square root number for 3 is 1
Answer is either 11 or 19 according to rule.
