sukhvat ymi ca te'nukampay ||
sukhvat kanakavicitraknanm |
manohar sugatasutair alaktm ||
tavray prathitayaasya dhmata |

nama, amitbhya, jinya, te, mune |
sukhvatm, ymi, ca, te, anukampay ||
sukhvatm, kanaka-vicitra-knanm |
manoharm, sugata-sutai, alaktm ||
tava, raym, prathita-yaasya, dhmata |

I bow to Amitbha, Conqueror, to you, Sage.


I go to Sukhvat through your compassion,
Sukhvat, her forests embellished by gold,
attractive, ornamented by the Sugatas' sons,
your abode, Wise One of known glory,
I go to that heap of many gems and jewels.
