Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

Strategy: Four Pics One Word
Before we proceed to our lesson, I want
you to see this map first. We already
discussed a lot of Afro-Asian literary
piece. Studying literature of different
countries is like a magic airplane. We
travel from one country to another
discovering their culture and traditions
through literary texts.

Direction: Arrange the following statements in a chronological order based on the
folktale The Touch of Happiness.
______Matsui was able to see the spot where the Gods left their mark. A lovely blue
iris flower grew from his ruined field.
______While Matsui was busy on his painting , a stranger arrived and told him that
he shall see the spot where the Seven Gods of Happiness left their mark .
______Matsui's rice field and garden failed to produce crops.
______From a single piece of an iris flower his field became a wonderful plantation.
It became a source of living for him . And he was able to understand the
words stated by the stranger.
______He abandoned his field and solved his problems by using painting materials
in his godown to sell pictures.
