February Team Newsletter

Thank you so much for your continued dedication and loyalty to Gravity Dance Center. We appreciate
all of you so much! Thank you to those who have referred people as well! Competition season is
approaching us quickly! Please make sure your children are attending their classes regularly. It is very
important for them to be in class as we are preparing our routines for competition. Also, please be sure
to check your team calendars for extra practice dates and times. These rehearsals are mandatory and
very important to the creation of our group numbers.

Fundraiser
We will be doing a Happening Cards fundraiser this month. The order forms and information
will be available at the front desk if you are interested in doing it. This is a great way to earn a
little extra money to pay for dance. These will be due February 12th.

Bag Order
There are order forms at the front desk for the green Gravity Backpacks, the Gravity duffle bags
and Garment bags. All orders are due by February 11th. This will be the only order for this
season.

Year End Banquet

We will be holding our first Gravity Year End Banquet at The Gathering Place in Gardner Village
on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6-8pm. All dancers and cheerleaders will attend at no
charge. Parents will need to pay $20 to the front desk by April 14, 2016. At least one parent is
required to be with your dancer/cheerleader. This event will be for team member and parents
only. No siblings due to limited space.

Mock Comp Schedule

February 27th @ Granger High School 3:00pm-9:00pm
Starburst, Moonlight and Starlight teams need to arrive at Granger High School by 2:45pm
ready to perform. All other teams need to arrive at 3:00pm. Please make sure you are on time
in your first costume. We want the night to run as smoothly as possible. All performers need to
wear full costume with hair and makeup done.
