Scoring:
Scoring for all events will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 (Relays are double points)
Entry Procedures: Entry deadline is Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 5:00pm
Tompkins will be using the online entry format for TrackMate 6.60 for the 2015 Bubba Fife Relays. All participating
schools will receive an email with log in instruction and a meet code directly from the Sports Automation website
(at www.microsport.com) and use it to enter contestants. If you have not received an email and code yet, please
email me at jeremiahadye@katyisd.org Some school district servers are blocking the email so you may have to send an alternate
email address.

Each participating school MUST use the above procedure for submitting entries.

Entries should be input into the Trackmate Online program on or before Tuesday, February 9th.
Entry Fee: $100.00 per Team -- Boys and Girls would be a $200 entry fee. Please mail entry fee checks before meet
to be received by Feb. 7th. School districts that are members of the athletic directors agreement will be $50 a
team for a total of $100 per school with boys and girls.

General Information:
1. Athletes may warm up ONLY outside the track facility. No athletes will be permitted on the infield for warm
up unless they are competing in the next event.
2. Remind all athletes to stay out of tennis, baseball and softball facilities.
3. All field event medals for places 1-3 will be given at 1:00pm at the awards table after the results are verified.
Distance Medley, Sprint Medley and 3200m awards will be presented at 1:00pm. All other running event
medals will be presented to the top three finishers at the awards table immediately after each event is
completed.
4. Please make sure all field event judges are notified when an athlete leaves the competition to compete in a
running event and the athlete checks back into the event in a timely manner. We will do our best to make
sure athletes get all attempts they are due but once finals begin there will be no more preliminary attempts
allowed. Also after each round of the finals, no more attempts will be allowed once the athletes turn has
been skipped. In pole vault and high jump once the bar is raised to the next height it will not be lowered.
Judges will be asked to wait a reasonable amount of time for an athlete to finish another event but they will
be asked to move on if the athlete does not report after their running event. We cannot wait on recovery
time for athletes.
Directions to Tompkins High School:
1. I-10 west or East to Grand Parkway Exit (Highway 99).
2. Turn left (south) onto Grand Parkway (Highway 99). (*If driving east on I-10, turn right.)
3. Continue to Bay Hill Blvd exit.
4. Head west on Bay Hill Blvd. then take a left at Falcon Landing Blvd.
5. The school is located at the intersection of Falcon Landing Blvd. and Gaston Rd.
6. The track is located on the north part of the campus and the scratch meeting will be held in the main
commons directly south of the track in the main building.
Team Camps:
All team camps will be set up on the northwest side of the athletic facility north (behind) the baseball field near the
jumping areas. There will be no camps inside the track stadium and only athletes preparing for an event will be
allowed on the infield. Please be aware that this area will not have a security officer at all times and valuables
need to be somewhere that they will not be stolen. WE ARE NOT REPONSIBLE FOR STOLEN OR LOST ITEMS.
