2. Howwastheresearchrelatedtoyourmentorhours?
a. TheresearchwasrelatedtomymentorhoursbecauseIwasabletoseethevarious
levels of the workforce play out in a realworld scenario. I was effectively an
intern, and I saw everyone working through the line of command from the
executive chef all the way down to the bus. This not only gave me a realistic
understanding of where I would need to start, itwouldalsogivemesomethingto

the kitchenthatday,meaningwe hadtomealstoworkthrough.HeandIprepared
a few dishes for breakfast, but part of the way through he pulled me aside so we
could talk about my project. We discussed everything from my paper to my
product, something I will need his help in completing. Then we went out and
completed some morebreakfastdishes,someofwhichwentuneatenbecausealot
of the players went to eat their own foodbeforepractice.Immediatelyafterwards
I ran some supplies up to the main kitchen, then brought some essentials down
from the main kitchen to the working kitchen downstairs that Mr. Etheridge was
in charge of. We started preparing lunch afterwards, which took several hours of
nonstop work. When the players came in after morning practice we served them
from the kitchen they cleared out most of what we had, meaning there were
almost no leftovers. Though this may not be surprising imagining that a whole
football team could clear out a kitchen, the surprising part was that barely a
quarter of them showed up. After the last of themleft,whichwas3:30,webegan
