Baroness Thompson

Hello my name is Baroness Thompson, Im a mother of three children, 13, 15 and 17. I
am the youngest of 4 and I was born in Los Angles, California. Education is very important in
our Family. My mother Graduated from Cal State Hayward, my brother has obtained two
Masters Degrees from Pepperdine and Mari time Academy, Finally my sister has a B.A from
Saint Marys located in Moraga, California.
I have also worked on the Yes on Q Bond Measure for Solano Community College. This
measure allows students in grades 9th through 12th to attend our local college free of charge. I
also utilized the measure to bring awareness in regards to the importance of education within
my household. I enrolled my, 9th and 11th grade sons in two college classes. I believe
Education is the key to perseverance.
As a behavioral assistant I worked in various setting for 7 years, I concurrently worked as
a sub- Para Professional for Solano County office of education. I am also enrolled in Argosy
University online, to obtain my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
In closing, I am very Knowledgeable and determined to help our society with an
empathetic understanding of each individuals predicament. My extensive experience will
allow productivity in managing the logistics of the various programs including lab set up and
shut down. Managing and presenting neat and detailed records and program binders.
Contacting parents to communicate student performance and establish working relationships
within our community and schools.
